I also like how on twitter, Ziggler described the feud by saying "No Gimmicks. Just two guys wanting to prove they're the best" or something to that effect.

This is the kind of feud I've been wanting to see Bryan in for the longest time to be honest so I'm going to go out on a limb and say this feud is going to take center stage on Smackdown despite possibly being the curtain jerker.

On another note, It's hard for me to decide which is better.....Them being in marquee feuds for Mania or them embarassing Vince's handpicked talents and laughing at Vince's stupidity? Lol

The latter. Always the latter.

I DVR'd RAW, so I am watching the title match right now. So far, so good. Though the Rumble set up is bizarre. It looks like a RAW.

The title match was fantastic. Loved the whole Brock, suplex machine shtick. He throws guys like they are heavy, makes it look like it actually hurts. Seth Rollins earned himself that ovation. He does things Punk tried to do, but wasn't quite the athlete to pull off.

All PPVs and shows other than WM and NXT use the same set.

Austin had the following to say regarding why fans seemed to be so upset with the decision to have Reigns win the 30 man over the top rope match:

“If you’re trying to earn the fans respect, you’re really starting in the hole because people feel like he’s being forced down their throats. He’s not ready. They’re looking at the body of work. With the two other guys — three total in the Shield — he’s doing one-third of the work, come in and shine and get out. Now all the sudden you’ve got all these gaps to fill in the blanks, and he hasn’t been able to fill in those blanks.”

Austin went on to say he feels Roman Reigns “took a nap” during the Royal Rumble match by spending too much time in the corner. “I hate to keep going down that road, but that’s what happened. He goes into a corner and takes a nap,” Austin said.

Wade Keller then asserted sources close to Reigns in WWE have told him Reigns is overly confident about his position in WWE, and Austin reacted by saying the following:

“You can’t take [your spot in WWE] as a given. As soon as you think you’re entitled, you’re thinking it’s a given — no, bad things are gonna happen because it’s conveyed in your presentation. It’s like when Alabama took on Ohio State. Ohio State was number four, Alabama number one, and I think Alabama assumed they were supposed to win that game and they got the h*** beat out of them because Ohio State went and punched them in the mouth. You can’t ever assume that everything’s just gonna happen because then you get a h*** of a wakeup call

See..... I hear stuff like that, and it REALLY makes me dislike Roman Reigns.

He just comes off like an *******, who doesn't give a crap about bad booking and fan unhappiness, as long as its benefiting him. Whereas Cena (whose spot Reigns is being groomed to take) shows remorse and and anger himself about the way he's booked, and how its affecting the other talent, as well as fan reactions.

It's been like that for a while. I can't remember when it started but I recall that it was due to major budget cuts on the TV production side. I personally hate it. I loved how Raw and Smackdown had their own visual identities.

It started when they went to HD.

From what I've come to see and hear about wrestlers in the business....it seems like the only wrestlers that end up having somewhat decent attitudes outside of the ring (the ones that have made it to the top at some point in their careers) are the ones who had to crawl up that corporate ladder and grab the top spot with many years of hard work.

The ones that were given the top spot without much effort and within a short amount of time, most of them are somewhat *****es outside of the ring as a result.

Speaking of a certain hardworking wrestler isn't it funny that Bryan got to run a Twitter Q and A for the Seahawks and will likely be promoting Mania at the Superbowl. You have someone that can possibly bring new eyes to your product due to embracing of him by Football fans and MLB Fans(they voted him Celebrity Fan of the Year afterall) but because he's not 6 ft 5 and muscular with movie star looks, you don't want him as even the interim top guy?

I really hope that Bryan and Ziggler match gets enough time to blow the whole show out of the water because to me that's asinine.

You know CM Punk has admitted he's a bit of a *****ebag.

Agreed. His cousin needs to teach him a lesson in humility.

That sort of makes him less of a db. He knows he can be hard to deal with.

Stone Cold is right on the money. Reigns spent most of the match laid out. I remember complaining about that. The rumble itself was a disaster after Bryan went out. It's just not fun to watch.

I finally watched the Rumble match itself. The biggest mistake wasn't even Reigns winning, but the way he won. Kane and Show turning on each other? It would have been better had he simply outsmarted them or overpowered them. The way Ziggler, and Bryan were dumped out was a giant F you to the IWC. The same with Bray after looking so strong all match.

I think the Reigns heel turn is inevitable, and there are IMO multiple set ups for it. Steph and Trips coming out at the end of the Rumble the look on their faces could be meant for the Rock, and Heyman in the interview telling Roman "I think you're the next big thing" could both be considered seed planting IMO.

Rollins is glorious in the top heel spot but a double turn with Reigns and Rollins would be best right now IMO. Rollins is the ultimate architect and have him outsmart Authority, Heyman, Reigns everyone etc.

Also anyone else watch this? Time Travelling Daniel Bryan explains why people are upset about the Rumble FIVE years ago

I wish they would let Bryan cut some more angry promos like that now, as opposed to playing the humble "man of the people" character in all of his promos.

Daniel Bryan the soothsayer. It's always gonna be like that, no matter how loud we get WWE's just gonna do whatever the wanna do.

Orton needs to be back soon. I was very surprised when there wasn't an RKO in sight at the Royal Rumble.
