Good to see you back man, it's like Impact got good and you disappeared lol.

I didn't notice him which is a shame as he's the only MMA guy aside from Lesnar I would recognize. What did he tweet?

Thanks Hunter  Haha funny how that worked out right?! Yea man my schedule has just been insane so I haven't had much time to watch any wrestling or get on here. I haven't watched a full RAW or Impact in weeks!

Here's Chael's tweet
At #RAW. @WWEDanielBryan cheated against @CMPunk. Threw him into the guard rails. I’m disgusted. #WWE

I knew that the WWE would shoehorn Orton into the WHC match the moment he was removed from the Elimination Chamber.

Damn, I hate working Mondays , seems like I missed a good Raw

Impact has been better since Vince Russo departed.

Cena's comeback on Rock tonight wasn't even bad, but Rock basically owned Cena so bad, by calling it how it is, that Cena talks all his big talk about being there in front of the live audience week after week, but the live audience doesn't want him, and calling him out on how he hasn't changed or done anything different in an entire year.

And all Cena could focus on was Kung Pao chicken.

I thought the Rock completely shredded Cena tonight, just as he's been doing every time they are together on camera. I cracked up at Rock calling Cena a newer version of Rocky Maivia: the babyface who can't elicit support. It's so true.

I actually feel sorry for Cena. He's been doing some of the best work of his erratic career, but he's been paired with a larger-than-life-personality who dwarfs him. If Rock had told the crowd to stick their fingers up their noses and chant, "gloopy-glopy, na-na, pee-pee, wink-waa", they would have done it. Cena start throwing money into the crowd and still not get a Rocky-type reaction.

I think tonight's promo was great. Cena and the Rock both delivered. The Rock obviously had alot of bad moments but he did great when he was focused on the point he needed to make rather than pandering to the crowd to make things trend.

I love the way this feud is going and Cena is looking like he's in tip top form again with these promos. He's very much looking like himself back in 2005/2006.

It's funny. because to me that was the biggest most truthful thing that's been said in the whole fued, yet it seems like Cena's notes comment is winning out.

In the end Rock has a bigger gripe. Cena's mad because rock basically isn't around as much as he would want, Rock's mad not only because of what Cena's saying, but because basically Cena's stinking up the joint. It's funny how Rock responds to what Cena says, but Cena never responds to the truths that Rock says. Why didn't he respond to the fact that he has the Rock's phone number? Or the fact that The Rock is representing the people and he isn't, and that Rock is actually listening to the people and trying to actually entertain them while Cena's been shoved down our throats. No, he mentions the chicken and the "notes" (let's be honest, Rock has never had anything on his arm before, but now all of a sudden he needs them? A guy used to memorizing his lines not only in wrestling but in films? And Cena conveniently mentions it the one time we see it? I call work on that one. Especially since Rock never looked at his left wrist the entire time)

Overall, I'm happy that Cena's bringing back some darn edge, which made me like him in the first place, i just think the ownage business is overrated.

I would really love if Rock went there, and really started to get to Cena about his actual talent and how he's had the ball for all these years, and DROPPED it. To me that would be more relevant then Rock's choice to do movies.

Goosebumps my friend. Goosebumps. :cwink:

I just watched the Punk/Jericho segment , that was amazing . Jericho as good as he is basically got owned by Punk

Rock, IMHO, looked way to angry for the "notes" comment to be a work. He was also extremely flustered. If it IS a work, it's the best damn acting he's ever done..

How on Earth can Cena respond to the fact the WWE book him on top? He doesn't own the company, he didn't make it PG and he doesn't decide how his angles play out, "Well gee Rock, why not ask Vince and the booking team as they are still in charge just like they were in your day", because really that's the only comment he can make.

It was also a stupid point because while Rock went on his beloved twitter the other day to say he's baffled about the boys not understanding the business, he clearly doesn't either, the loud mouthed older fans in the live audience do not dictate WWE's direction, CM Punk isn't getting the push he's getting because the live crowds all seem to love him, he's getting it because he's the only guy in 6 years to out-sell John Cena in merchandise.

Cena is on top because he sells and makes the company money, Vince doesn't leave him there for ****s and giggles, he keeps him there because he is money, did no one read how much annual revenue he is responsbile for in WWE? it's a rather large sum of money.

"While you were dancing with the stars I was swimming with the sharks."

Line of the night.

I just don't buy that Cena "won" tonight's promo. Not in the least. Not when Rock said what the entire audience is thinking, talked about how he doesn't insult our intelligence, talked about how anyone with half a brain knew that Rock's comment didn't mean he'd be on every Raw and every Smackdown every week, and that Cena is the only one butt hurt about it, and how Rock already did his time in the WWE week after week on every Raw and every Smackdown, talked about how nobody wants to see Cena, how he's been shoved down our throat, and said that the most innovative thing Cena has done was change his shorts.

Sorry Cena, but going on about Rock's Kung Pao Chicken bit, and pointing to your "Hustle, Loyalty, Respect" motto isn't going to win any promos when The Rock pulled out the bigger shoot of the night, much bigger than Cena calling Rock "Dwayne"

Cena's "keep trending" line was nice, but Cena got owned tonight, and it wasn't even close.

Cena didn't get "owned" at all.. If Rock would have kept it where he was originally going.. Maybe.. But he turned it into a ******** riddled mess that Cena came out and fixed.

I also call BS on "no one wants to see Cena.." mostly because even the guys here who claim to hate him would cheer him again if he was Dr of Thuganomics Cena again... Heck, some just want him to have more edge.

If Cena came out every Monday and act like he did last night and last week... He'd be cheered by even the "hardest" male fan.

yeah cena destroyed the rock tonight he cut real deep with his written promo line and if wwe close tomorrow rocky wouldn't give it a second look

90% of rock was kung pow chicken, fruity pebbles,no balls cena,it is trending now Oregon

give me a break lol

Re: Rock "owning" Cena.

Yeah, I don't think so. Cena wasn't the one who was visibly flustered and angry.

The cherry on top of the whole Rock/Cena thing was Rock almost falling off the ropes when he got up there to raise his fist at the end.

Rock's notion that the crowd didn't expect to see him more than 6 times a year is pure horse****, just read back through the wrestling threads from last year "Why not give Rock a title run, he can surely make a few defenses" yeah all that was from all the smarts who knew he was really only going to appear once every 4 months, I don't think so.

Bottom line is Cena swaggered out, hit Rock with some ammo and swaggered back, Rock got all cranky and couldn't even get his limp comeback out even though it was just the same lines he's been putting out for years. Ice cold delivery > stuterring and looking like a deer in the headlights.

I don't really care about the Rock. He was a funny dude in the Attitude Era but he was always behind Stone Cold and HBK for me. He's no where near the "icon" some make him out to be, IMHO.
