Cameron better not get fired. Those girls are my favorite piece of eye candy for Raw.

I don't really understand the point of the Josh Matthews/Kane storyline.

So it's early moring and I can't sleep, I'm grumpy and felt like posting my issues with WWE that have led to me simply not watching after 20+ years. Needless to say the fact WWE still book like we are in 1986 but without the charm or brains plays a huge part as it infects every area of the product, but I'll bullet point it.

CM Punk
- Finally a face that is actually over with the over 12's and who can sell merch like Cena! Best booking plan? tone down what made him popular, then make it clear he's second fiddle, then turn him into a chicken**** heel and feed him to Cena!

Cena - An impotent face, half the crowd hate him no matter what, his mix of "Gee golly" attitude, pious bellowing about how righteous he is and horrible comedy shtick has grated on just about everyone old enough to realize breasts are awesome.

You can't get heat on him so Punk has to beat up a jaded old fart announcer, because **** knows beating Rey Mysterio up ceased working years ago and Ryder proved useless as surrogate heat in the Kane feud.

Sheamus - Once a mean destroyer, then he went face and just won matches every week, now he's a big jolly ginger giant telling tales from the old country and even worse jokes than Cena, I am sure Vince has designs on getting him on the side of that sweetcorn tin.

Del Rio - Is the Latin market that lucrative? Do WWE brass really think Latin fans wont watch as much without a representative? how the hell did WWE draw in Mexico before Rey Mysterio? Honestly Del Rio has been pushed forever as a top heel despite having no mic skills and not being over, Christ! his half dead looking ring announcer is more over.

Orton - He was last interesting in 2009 before his balls were removed. Now he just talks and walks very slowly and has the odd good match here and there.

Daniel Bryan - Made the mistake of getting really over, this had to be fixed and quickly, hence the barking loon in a comedy angle with Kane, the guy known for being in the worst angles in WWE history.

AJ Lee - Yes she grew a surname when made GM. Classic Vince, take a quirky and interesting character, change what got them over and ram them down everyone's throat. She is now an obnoxious poison midget in a power suit.

Triple H
- Just **** off you tired *****ebag, you can't work without a crutch now, you got your Mania matches with Taker, you actually did the right thing at Summerslam, just go away and sort out the booking instead of lingering around like the stale remnants of a fart from an 80 year old who's been on a curry and cider binge, you aren't Shawn or Flair, deal with it!

Brock Lesnar - A true box office attraction, a legit wrecking machine, the best plan of action? job him out in his first match to Cena who lost to a movie star in a phoned in match instead of doing it the other way around, then book him in a tedious 4 month angle with a has-been, have him actually win, but only so he can lose the rematch to said has-been who just wanted to wait a bit longer and oil it up some more before he got his "rub."

Dolph Ziggler - Best athlete in the company but Sheamus has beaten him so many times I'm surprised he hasn't been mounted on the all green Sheamusmobile Vince is no doubt having built for the cartoon launch. Honestly Dolph is in a no win situation, chasing a belt that doesn't matter with a case he didn't need.

The Big Show - He was likable as the giant military gnome, now he's just pointless as the unstoppable monster who is always stopped.

Social Media - WORST THING EVER! just get rid of it, it sucks on every level, no one wants to see short videos of inbred marks who don't seem to get that wrestling is a work, these people only serve to make the business look worse, and ditch the z list celebs as ambassadors, they suck, and not in the good porn way.

Cody has seemingly stalled, Christian is a jobber, Ryback will be pushed despite no one giving a **** and Cesaro is working an angle with a comedy act who's sock puppet has a hard on for his girlfriend, genius!

The booking is infantile, idiotic and boring, the belts are worthless and the talent undervalued as Cena and Triple H have a circle jerk with nostalgia acts.

/Rant

Sorry to drag up an old post, but been meaning to comment on it.

Basically I agree with everything except for the part about AJ. I don't think she's really changed that much at all, just goes from quirky to psycho quicker than before, and in all honestly, I think her tv time as actually died down since becoming GM. On the last Raw, wasn't the only time we saw her when she came out and beat the crap out of Vickie? So I don't really agree with the "ramming down throats" part either.

IMO, one of my favorite parts of the attitude era was the divas division. The fact that they've let it deteriorate so much since annoys me to no end, and at least seeing someone with actual talent get over as she has with a not terrible gimmick shows that there can still be interest in the division, and I think the more exposure she gets, the better.

So Jericho was trolling with his 2012 vignettes. That bastard! :woot:

Chris Jericho Talks About Leaving WWE, Ziggler's Future and More

Talks about his creepy promos leading to his return: I didn't want to come back the same, I wanted to come back different. The viral thing was my idea, where the YouTube thing on Raw on the bottom of the screen, where it's very subtle. I like stuff like that where it makes people think. The silent treatment was all Vince's idea. I had a big long promo that would have explained it right off the bat why it was the end of the world as you know it and why I was coming back to reclaim what was mine. Vince said "no I don't want you to say anything." It worked so well that we said let's not say anything for a whole month and see what happens. We are not as smart as you think by putting messages on the tiles of the floor. This was all done on a shoestring budget and I never saw the clips until they were done.

When CM Punk vs John Cena was great, and when Triple H's role was where it should've been.

Ah mid 2011. How I miss you so.

Old school Steph

I wonder what the photographer is saying to her in that shot.

"Okay Steph, now smile like the best friend of one of the guys on that shirt is going to be boning you when you're a woman."

Cameron better not get fired. Those girls are my favorite piece of eye candy for Raw.

They were my favorite parts of seeing Brodus, but if it's true that she drove drunk, I have zero sympathy for her.

They could get another hot black chick to replace her easily. No big loss.

Give Alicia Fox the spot...That way we don't have to worry about her hurting another diva. Didn't Cameron just tell Austin recently that she was the first one on TE cut and now is the only one with a contract?

What?

Fox does not have the body to replace Cameron as one of them Funkadactals. Is there way to clone DAT ASS Naomi?

Alicia Fox will botch a dance move and poke a kids eye out with the thriller hand claw move.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. To think that we've dropped so low since last year.

It's sad to say that we had more hope of things changing within the WWE than we do now, when we look back at promos like that, or even on how Daniel Bryan and Zack Ryder were getting pushed, winning titles, and even closing the show. Sure Daniel Bryan is more over with the crowd then he was back then, which is more than I can say for Zack Ryder imho, but neither of them are being used properly.

And it's even tragic to see on how CM Punk has literally been forced to go back to step one because the WWE doesn't have the balls to turn Cena heel or an interesting character to root for.

There was so much hope from August of last year to the early this year. It felt fresh. CM Punk treated as being on Cena's level, Daniel Bryan rising to the top, Zack Ryder getting over and becoming champion.

Even Triple H's role as COO and General Manager of both shows felt a natural progression to his character. No false heroism.

Now? Things are just not the same. Even Cena IMO, has regressed. Last year, he was adding moves to his repertoire. A gut wrench suplex, a power slam. Felt like he was trying to grow. Now he went back to his usual shtick.

And CM Punk vs Triple H...what a feud that could've been. With some depth. Could've challenged the HBK/Jericho feud from 2008.

I don't get why WWE needed to turn CM Punk heel again to face Cena. They could of just played off the natural rivalry chemistry and it would of sold as well as their previous fueds instead of his respect rubbish which seems forced and cliche.

The easy answer: They wanted the entire Boston crowd behind Cena.

Doubt it'll happen even with Punk being heel now though.

Punk wasn't just turned heel for Cena though. They cannot afford to have anyone boo The Rock. They need the sell WrestleMania.

Even though I'm not a Rock fan, I think he could be a better draw as a heel. How can Punk look like the bad guy when it's Rock, a two time a year part timer, who did nothing to earn a shot at the title. If Punk retains at NoC, I hope they don't put a leash on what he can say and just rip up the Rock to shreds.
