As far as my stats (I think Papa Flapjack is referring to my tale of the tape) I'm pretty average; 5'6", 135lbs. I'm basically a supercruiserweight
..but nowadays, it's not SO MUCH about how big you are, and that's encouraging. My friend (who I found out about the school through) is also going to help teach me what he knows, so I'll have a leg up somewhat on the others in the class. When he dropped me off tonight he showed me how to go from a top wrist lock to a headlock of my own, in addition to walking me through the steps of a takedown. It's such a learning curve but DUDE, I'm so excited to learn.

That's really awesome that you're training to be a prowrestler. I always wanted to be a prowrestler since I was 9 or 10. There was a time years ago where I was dead serious about learning the ropes. I'm actually the same height and weight as you too oddly enough. But that's kind of the main reason why I never pursued it. I always felt like no matter how much I learned and how good I could get...I'd never be big enough to be taken seriously and I'd spend my time making bigger guys look like the Hulk. I'd daydream and come up with all these cool gimmicks and personas. I'd even ad lib promos with friends. But what it all came down to was I was this little 5 foot 6 inch guy. Adrian Neville is 5"10 and built really well and WWE acts like he's a midget.
Maybe I let WWE influence my thinking too much. But it discouraged me a lot.
But it's super refreshing that it didn't stop you. I think that's great. I look forward to hearing your updates and I wish you nothing but the best of luck. It's really awesome that you're going to train!
