As far as my stats (I think Papa Flapjack is referring to my tale of the tape :hehe:) I'm pretty average; 5'6", 135lbs. I'm basically a supercruiserweight :funny:..but nowadays, it's not SO MUCH about how big you are, and that's encouraging. My friend (who I found out about the school through) is also going to help teach me what he knows, so I'll have a leg up somewhat on the others in the class. When he dropped me off tonight he showed me how to go from a top wrist lock to a headlock of my own, in addition to walking me through the steps of a takedown. It's such a learning curve but DUDE, I'm so excited to learn. :mrk:

That's really awesome that you're training to be a prowrestler. I always wanted to be a prowrestler since I was 9 or 10. There was a time years ago where I was dead serious about learning the ropes. I'm actually the same height and weight as you too oddly enough. But that's kind of the main reason why I never pursued it. I always felt like no matter how much I learned and how good I could get...I'd never be big enough to be taken seriously and I'd spend my time making bigger guys look like the Hulk. I'd daydream and come up with all these cool gimmicks and personas. I'd even ad lib promos with friends. But what it all came down to was I was this little 5 foot 6 inch guy. Adrian Neville is 5"10 and built really well and WWE acts like he's a midget.

Maybe I let WWE influence my thinking too much. But it discouraged me a lot.

But it's super refreshing that it didn't stop you. I think that's great. I look forward to hearing your updates and I wish you nothing but the best of luck. It's really awesome that you're going to train!

- Naomi turning on Paige during Monday's WWE RAW from London was actually her being put into the spot originally planned for AJ Lee before she retired as AJ was scheduled to turn heel on Paige soon. Naomi was scheduled to turn heel a few months ago in the angle with Jimmy and The Miz but it was nixed.

Yeah, they were clearly heading towards Naomi aligning with Miz a few months ago as he was promising to "help her with her music career," but that storyline just disappeared.

But, now that they've pulled the trigger, I actually enjoyed Naomi's heel turn on Monday, and her promo afterwards.

I'm hearing that D-Bry is getting pulled from the European Tour. Looks like his injuries are starting to come back. If they weren't going to pull the trigger on giving him the RR win and WM31 main event, they should have just waited until afterwards. He also needs to change his style and stop doing the suicide dive.

So now the only face Divas are Paige, Summer Rae, and Natalya?

I just think it's an odd choice that they were going to do it with AJ who was more over than Paige, and even odder to do it with Naomi who's smile, personality and athletic style are perfect for a face much more so than a heel IMO.

Dana Brookes kicking Blue Pants in her lady parts isn't PG.
I think she still needs a little work, but hey it's her first match.

Also, Blue Pants is the Barry Horowitz of NXT now?

Maybe it's me, but I didn't think Naomi's promo came off as too heelish. So maybe she's a tweener.

On the subject of Blue Pants, this was posted before I think but I found it hilarious:

Not odd at all. They clearly must have had an idea that AJ wasn't going to be around long and were planning to invest everything in Paige as the main face going forward.

And I think Naomi showed heel potential.

Are Enzo and Cass faces or heels? I honestly can never tell from the fan reaction.

Even though I'm a lapsed wrestling fan (didn't watch much of the PG era), a part of me always wanted to be a wrestler, yeah. I did amateur wrestling in high school after reading Mick Foley's autobiography and lost my only two matches :lmao:

Nice, you seem very enthusiastic. I hope you stick with it and keep us updated here.

- Part of the reason for Sin Cara and Kalisto being immediately pushed is because The Usos will be away from the tag team scene for several months with Jey Uso out of action. WWE needed a top babyface team to challenge WWE Tag Team Champions Tyson Kidd and Cesaro while The Usos are away. No word yet on what they have planned for Jimmy Uso.

The answer is obvious: Jimmy needs a temporary tag team partner, hopefully to carry on the same gimmick, especially the siva tau.

Damian UsDow!

Agreed.

With Jey Uso missing the next six months of action due to shoulder surgery, the WWE suddenly found themselves without a popular face tag team that they could utilize in the tag division.

Enter the Lucha Dragons, Sin Cara and Kalisto.

WWE called the two up from the roster quicker than originally planned to make them the face tag team in the mean time. The two will be feuding with Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Tyson Kidd.

Vince McMahon is very high on the Lucha duo and has been said to be considering putting the belts on them after seeing how crowds have reacted to them. Vince also realizes the massive crossover appeal that the team will have in Latin America and other Spanish speaking nations.

Thanks man! I really do want to learn the technical side of it, so that I can do the work to perfection. I'm a friggin stickler and once I've gotten the technique down THEN I'll work the nuances of my character in. It's all about how you carry yourself and your gimmick. I already know who I want to be in the business, so I figure if I go in acting like some punk kid who'll take on whoever no matter their size or experience in relation to mine and just put up a hell of a fight, win or lose I'll grab someone's attention.

You know I will man. Hopefully in about 3-4 months I'll be posting videos of my matches for you all to rib on :hehe:

I'll be first in line to angrily accuse you of not putting over younger talent! :argh:
