A couple of interesting tidbits from the interview...

-Cat says he owns the trademark to the phrase "Somebody Call My Momma!" He isn't too happy that WWE used his gimmick and put it on Brodus Clay. He has no heat with Clay, but feels disrespected that WWE never approached him about using the gimmick and phrase. He says WWE should be paying him for use of the "Momma" phrase. Talks his lawyers getting involved and handling it.

-Cat says he was approached by Hogan and Bischoff (Cat trained Garrett as a kid in karate, which is how he got into WCW) about joing TNA a year ago, but he had other committments.

-Cat talks about Sting very favorably. Says that of everyone he has ever met or worked with, Sting was the most positive upbeat, honest, and friendly guy he knew. Says Sting was the ultimate team player. Says Sting complimenting his bit with James Brown backstage was a stand-out moment in his career.

Yep. It all came to a head last night. They used the 'Hornswoggle get out of jail card' once again.

DGUSA issued a press release to announce the formation of the Shine female wrestling promotion. The first show will take place on July 20 in Ybor City, Fla. at The Orpheum. I hate exaggerating titles for videos like that!,It's about WWE yet it talks about a dying love for pro wrestling!?..WWE is not the only wrestling promotion nor even the top mainstream one in the world(NJPW/AAA&CMLL are top main stream promotions in the world&their respective countries)!

Last time I checked WWE is in more markets around the world than any other wrestling company. Which makes them the #1 in the world overall.

And who can blame them? RAW was garbage. Who booked that stuff? I couldn't believe that was the final RAW before Money In The Bank. That's supposed to be the lead-in?

What a stark difference with last night and the final RAW before last year's Money In The Bank.

I agree. It's so fu**ing stupid that they limited themselves. They could've at least had it open to all former world champions so it would've been easier for 4 more slots to be filled. I would've had Ziggler in the RAW MITB and had Kofi in the SD one.

My guess is since John Cena will most likely win the damn match, they didn't want anybody stealing his thunder by doing a crazy spot!

Last night's RAW not only didn't make me want to see MitB, it made me want to go out of the way to avoid it altogether.

I think despite some poor angles like the Bully Ray/Joseph Park and Claire storylines TNA has been better than WWE. TNA's show is structured better right now. I mean last week the show opened with a promo segment for a non title midcard feud. How often does that happen in WWE?

WWE's number 2 title feels irrelevant, while TNA added a stipulation to make theirs more prestigious, and had a tournament built around said title which was a major focus of the last PPV.

TNA has the Ace's and 8's, Bully Ray/Joseph Park, AJ/Daniels/Dixie/Claire, Joey Ryan, Madison Rayne 's crush, BFG series, and world title storylines. With the exception of the AJ/Daniels/Dixie/Claire storyline, they've been relatively easy to follow and plot hole free. What storylines does WWE focus on outside of Punk/Bryan/AJ and whatever Cena is doing?

I just see more effort in TNA than I do WWE. They try to spread the wealth so to speak, and WWE doesn't do that.

I agree on that last part, TNA does at least try to have angles for guys other than the main eventers even if they're often rubbish, something WWE is woeful at which is why we get filler packed eps of Raw like last nights mess.

My feeling is, if you're a talented guy in TNA, and you have a chance in the WWE, you should take it. The upside outweighs the downside; if the WWE doesn't work out for you, you get released in a gnat's breath anyway, and TNA will still welcome you with open arms.

The reverse is not true: a WWE guy who plys his trade with TNA will find the road back to the WWE fairly hazardous.

Agreed, it's the top level and no matter what your field is, you usually aim to reach the pinnacle of your profession. Plus as you say TNA does not have the bitterness WWE has if you try and fail elsewhere, so you have a safety net.

The stupidity of Raw going to 3 hours is down to Bonnie Hammer of USA, she clearly doesn't watch the show or she'd know that most weeks they struggle to fill 2 hours.

For the general public WWE is pro wrestling.
