XFL failed because they rushed everything about the product along with McMahon declaring war on the NFL. Everything was new at the moment back then so if he could learn from his mistakes, he could wind up making more money this way. He also has online streaming and social media to work with now.

No dumb storylines, no lame backstage skits with the cheerleaders, and no WWE Superstar involvement. Football fans want football.

Agreed, although you could make the argument that he's now going to the other end of the extreme spectrum.

Once again, we disagree.

I'm not sure Becky and Bayley (definitely not Charlotte) had to deal with the what Sasha went through. I mean, Becky went through a long period of NOT getting the title, but was almost always constantly in the title hunt. Then when she DID get the title she held onto the title for 3 months and defended it, successfully, multiple times.

Bayley held the title for 3 months as well AND beat Charlotte in a PPV title defense. Bayley was also scheduled to regain the title if not for her injury.

Sasha, on the other hand, literally lost the title every time she defended it then turned around and carried Nia Jax's green @$$ to good championships. THEN turned around and was forced to work with Alicia Foxx who is limited at best. She has legit (no pun intended) done everything the WWE has asked her to do. Your opinion of how good her matches have been is highly subjective. I can't tell you how you feel, but I do know many people disagree with you.

And let's keep Charlotte out of this conversation. She's been afforded every advantage even though she is limited in promos and has lackluster matches from time to time too. All these ladies are human and have the same ebbs and flows we all have at our jobs, but to "discredit" Sasha alone is crazy; especially considering the woman being pushed by the WWE (Asuka) while a great worker, can't talk at all (for obvious reasons).

...but you clearly have your opinion and I can't change that like you can't change mine.
I get the feeling you don't watch Smackdown. What Becky has been doing or what Charlotte spent most of 2017 doing. It amazes me Becky still consistently gets Becky chants.

What work has Sasha been doing that has been getting her praised since Charlotte went away from Raw? Yep, about opinion, but what has she been doing? And crap on Charlotte all you like. The woman's biggest "break" involved her father's health. Outside of that, she has been working nonstop, doing whatever they ask and performing at a high level. Watching Nat, who I like, sink the women's division on SD.

Sasha was involved in the one legit main card women's feud and won the title mutiple times during it. She has had it much better then Becky and Bayley. They gave Bayley some weird ass virgin storyline. They got Bayley, BAYLEY booed. Come on. :funny:

Sasha, like Paige, gets pointed out because both are not what they were in the past. Not just through the WWE's push, but their own work. Paige has had a rather awful personal turmoil, but Sasha just seems less invested then those around her.

Also Sasha saying I am the boss a bunch of times is not being able to talk on the mic. :funny:

Like I said at the start, we'll agree to disagree. Not sure why you're opinion of Becky is that much better than Sasha's, but it is what it is. Also, let's not go knocking Sasha's promos, I like Becky Lynch as much as the next person, but sometimes you can barely understand what she's saying.

But, to end this conversation: agree to disagree.

Or, you know, Vince is good at promoting wrestling and that's it. See everything outside of WWE that he's ever done.

I do think Vince's ego is not going to allow the XFL to end up as an NFL developmental league, despite the fact I think the NFL desperately needs one.

"Richard Rodriguez, who accused Roman Reigns of being a client of his steroid ring, claims he'll release evidence and other text information to prove his accusations. He's primarily using this as promotion for an upcoming documentary. He says releasing names affected his plea deal." - Sean Sapp

See everything outside of WWE that he's ever done.

Bodybuilding and low budget movies aren't money makers. Football is.

Hell, he could've made XFL last longer the first time if he compromised with people and hadn't been impatient.

What about his hockey team or WWF New York? Look, I'm going to watch, because truth be told, I want the XFL to work. I just don't buy for one second that it will.

I think the XFL can benefit by being a developmental league to the NFL, but that is not going to happen. The thing is though, I can see Vince McMahon being less antagonistic towards the NFL this time around as I would think he will want the next few WrestleManias in the new NFL stadiums in Atlanta, Minnesota, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Although if there is a Cleveland team, they would probably be better than the Browns.

The XFL has exactly zero chance of working out.

I don't think it will either.

Las Vegas is breathing a sigh of relief right now knowing that they will no longer be involved in a Non-NFL American Football League anymore because every time these leagues pop up, it's always them, Birmingham and Memphis. Not anymore though and they can thank Mark Davis for that.

I am curious how Vince is going to take this L. How racist this is all going to get before it falls on its face.

That's the first thing I thought of. This league has no chance of survival. But you never know. People are so sick of the NFL and politics that you never know. The NBA all star game is getting more buzz right now than the super bowl. How often does that happen?!

Corey Graves was on the Edge and Christian podcast.

Graves said commentary on the main roster is hard
When Vince tells you to say something, you better say it. Vince's mind changes on what and what not to say on air, and they just have to roll with it. For instance, whenever there was a backstage segment, they were supposed to stay silent afterwards so the audience could absorb what they just heard. After one such time, Vince yelled in their ears "why didn't you say anything?!"

There is a potentially awesome rumor about NXT Takeover that has emerged on Twitter:

Tomasso Ciampa has boarded a plane to Philly

We all know whats coming :cmad:

They haven’t been around, like at all. Unless you’re watching total divas.

I do think they'll enter the Women's RR, but I don't see either of them winning. If one of them does, I do think Brie gets a better reaction from the Philly fans than Nikki.

My final choice for the Women's Rumble is now Asuka. I would not be surprised though if she does not win, because it would be like the WWE to do something like that. And then they will spin it as to the fact that she has yet to be pinned or submitted, hence still undefeated. My second choice is still Becky Lynch and third is now Ronda Rousey. Neither this or my pick of Roman Reigns to win the Men's RR is a lock for me, namely because of the Elimination Chamber. If Rousey does show up, she's winning, and she should challenge Charlotte Flair, as Smackdown needs the star power.

PW Insider says this guy is in Philly:

The other names are not surprising:

Candice LaRae, Ricochet and Rockstar Spud

Very good opening tag match. Dream/Ohno was sloppy, but a lot of fun. Moon/Baszler is getting into strange territory.
