Both Chairshot Reality and Wrestle Reaction talked of the possibility of a Women's Money in the Bank match and I have an opinion on this:
- I cannot see a Women's MITB match being a ladder match like the men because I cannot see the likes of Paige, Sasha Banks and Becky doing crazy stunts of the ladder like the men have done.
- A battle royal would not work for a Women's MITB match.
- A tournament though could work under this concept. I'd have 8 women: Paige, Sasha, Becky, Emma, Naomi, Tamina, Natalya and Lana make up the field. The final would take place at the MITB PPV with the winner crowned the first Women's MITB Winner. Same rules then would apply as in the men: she would have one year to cash it in.
If this was to happen I'd choose Becky for several reasons:
- It would make her fans (of which I am one of them) very happy to know that she has a shot at the title.
- It would make her less of the "Dean Ambrose" of the Women's Division, which many people were afraid would happen to her.
- Opens up the opportunity for her to have her WrestleMania moment ala Seth Rollins if she still has MITB by then.
Having said that, I don't see it happening. If it does, there are only two with legit shots at it in Becky and Sasha. If it should happen, I'd wait until the Fourth Horsewoman, Bayley comes up or even Asuka.
Barring a major surprise to the WWE Women's Division, I think we all expect the Four Horsewomen to have multiple women's title reigns with Sasha I think being "the face of the division" due to the fact that she's the youngest superstar on the main roster. It'll be those four and Asuka, but due to her age (Asuka is 34) it may only be a two or three year window for those five and she may just have one at the most.
