The scene where Walt finally stopped lying to both himself and Skyler, was so perfect.

nice moment . also because its for the team Walt.

being bad is not like a cartoon. looking angry and killing people. humans are complex.

Breaking Bad 10/10. :woot:

I love the time we live in and this show will go down in the history books. I got a $100 bet with a buddy that BrBa sweeps the emmy's next year. I also love how I can talk about BrBa till almost 6am and still have stuff to talk about

random but i really liked the inclusion of the "Lydia the tattooed lady" Song as todd's ringtone :D
was hoping they would make a reference to that song since her first appearance

what i liked about the ending is that Walt made it very clear that he will die that night. he would take his life. but Jesse didnt know it. Walt didnt need anyone to die. Walt wanted to give him the chance to kill him to feel better. but no. Jesse has enough. he will not take orders anymore and he tells him to do it himself.

Jesse was free. :csad::up:

This last episode really was perfect. Simply incredible, seriously. No faults whatsoever.

90001/10.

Two questions, Wasn't Holly in Marie's house now? I thought Skyler had put he children away from her house after what Todd and his crew did last time. And can't Lydia still save herself? As long as the hospital know thats it's Ricin i thought they were prepared to handle it.

The scene where Walter was just wondering around Gretchen and Eliots house almost ghost like was beautiful

what i like about this show is it never overstayed it's welcome unlike say LOST,Dexter,Sopranos,Oz

shows like Breaking Bad and also The Shield went out on a high and the height of it's popularity

it had a set plan of a story arc they wanted to tell and finished and didn't stay because it has lots of fans

After sleeping on it I love it even more. Yes it was a little predictable but I was practically cheering when the M60 shot down the Nazis and Jesse killed Todd. Two things:

1. I wonder what happened to Brock :csad:
2. What would have happened to the rest of Walt's money? Would the police have found it?

Yeah, that's the sign of a Good show, not having an endplan at the begining isn't automatically a bad thing, as long as the writers eventually find a perfect way to wrap things up. But when you wish a show had ended X seasons before it's never a good sign.

Glad the Breaking Bad writers decided to make the finale seem natural instead of trying to end "big" with some major revelation, unanswered questions, or simply trying to give some elaborated set piece (though the machinegun trick was very cool). One one hand i can't say it was the best episode, and on the other i can't say it wasn't, because in this show (expecially the last 3 episodes) each episode was a piece fitting together into the larger story, they didn't try to give 1 amazing one followed by 2 boring episodes, each thing simply lead into another.

1. No, Holly is with Skyler. She would never give her up.
2. There is no cure for Ricin poisoning. Doctors will treat you but you will need to pray that the amount you got in your system is too less to kill you...

Yeah, but i thought Holly went to live with Marie for a while, waiting for things to get better. Either way thank you, from the episode they though Brock was poisoned by Ricin i thought they could still save a victim of that as long as they knew what it was.

I have to say that was a pretty satisfying ending, I'm happy with it. It felt a bit on the safe side, but it was good.

I just feel empty that it's over :(

1. It's widely assumed, even by Vince Gilligan, that Jesse went to take care of Brock (as if that wasn't obvious).

and

2. It's likely the police eventually found the money.

1. Jesse can't go back to his old life.

2. Seems like Jack might of had that money hidden. Who knows maybe know one will find it.

What says that Jesse can't go back to his old life?

He isn't implicated in anything.

Especially as far as cooking for Lydia and the Nazi's go.

For all the police, and the rest of the world knows, it was Walt who was cooking all that time.

I can't believe I didn't think of that  thanks!

Remember why Jesse was leaving in the first place???

Also the little known fact that Marie knows Jesse was working with Hank and Gomez (because he is Walt's accomplice) and was last seen with those two before they disappeared. Also somehow I don't think anyone in their right mind would let Jesse look after Brock, also why Brock would want Jesse to look after him???

on other forums and in the commets section some are saying that it was a full positive episode with a happy ending.

Walt didnt go there to save Jesse. when he saw him he changed his mind and threw him on the ground. but first he was angry when he found out how the blue meth is so pure. he thought he was a partner

-Walt admits that he did it because he liked it and because he was good at it. not because of the family
-his son will always think he was a monster and killed Hank
-scared Gretchen and her housband for the rest of their life for having a successful company. Walt sold his share. noone forced him. so what if they lied on Charlie Rose?
-dies next to the meth lab. not because he wants to save Jesse and Skyler. but because he wants to be remembered as the genius who created 98% pure meth.

it was a fantastic ending. but in no way positive or happy IMO.

It was a bittersweet ending at best. In no way was it positive or happy if you look at the series as a whole.

The ending wasn't necessarily happy, I felt like Justice was served to the bad. And those who deserved to live and get away, got away.

Walt died surrounded by his one true love and legacy; chemistry and his trademark blue meth. Also having the police find him there implicates him as being the cook for all those months, and preserving his legacy.

Walt got what he really wanted.

1. The fact that he was working with Hank and Gomez would be a positive, not a negative. Marie would hold no ill will to him.

2. Brock would want Jesse to look after him because he was, more or less, a surrogate father to him. Jesse took care of Brock and his mom (buying them a house for instance). Jesse loved Brock and Brock loved Jesse. And Andrea loved Jesse.

Walt got what he really wanted, but what he really wanted was pretty damn sad.

It is, it shows how I guess how pathetic he became.

By the way did anyone find it funny that the episode's cold open, was literally cold? :p

I guess it was a positive ending for those irrational people who genuinely held Walter as high as he held himself, and thought Skyler was an ungrateful *****. :o
