...a dream match come true...
Now, I wouldn't say Aries vs Sting is a dream match. At least not one I've ever heard anyone suggest. But it was a good match considering how Sting wrestles these days, and I like how they transitioned the Brainbuster into the Scorpion Deathdrop. It was very smooth, and a great way to end as match that really made Aries look like a threat to Sting.

If Sting were 20 years younger it would be for me for sure. Even if he were 10 years younger. Not now though. But like you said it was a decent match that he had tonight.

WWE can have good faces but they choose not to. I don't hear people booing James Storm, Kurt Angle, AJ Styles, or Jeff Hardy that much.

Well, AJ got a fair share of boos after removing Storm's head from his shoulders.

Anybody else think TNA's building AJ Styles as what WCW did with Sting against nWo?,Sting went dark/became a tweener&wore black and white..Yet he turned out to be WCW's savior and a one man army against WCW.

Just have a feeling similar thing will happen with dark AJ now,Which I think will be great for him/his character/the product and his fans,I've been an AJ mark since his Indy days But lost all interest in him with the Flair stuff and liked him during Fourtane But got tired of him after that..Now I'm really interested in where this goes!

watching tna. aces and 8's is a horrible stable and taz is god awful on commentary

Well there is a point to that. I don't know how much of it is booking, versus talent, but I'm going with booking on a lot of it, but unless your name is Triple H, The Rock, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, or Austin, you're not portrayed as an interesting face.

Only heels are portrayed as any kind of interesting anymore. CM Punk, Miz, Ziggler, Bryan, Jericho, etc... pretty much that entire list I made a few posts back. Faces become way too goody goody, and always get booked to go over the heels.

I wish I could get that creative writing job at WWE... :(

He's going through the same things Sting went through back in the 90's as there are parallels between them. I've said it before that Sting and AJ Styles are the Batman & Robin of professional wrestling.

AJ turned and attacked James Storm likely because of what happened last year between them. I like when AJ clotheslined Storm, his hood went back on by itself. That's cool symbolism that the AJ we knew is gone.

It's annoying because I really like Sheamus but he's booked like an irish John Cena. Sheamus is such a beast in the ring though. I hope that we get Sheamus vs Lesnar at some point.

Sheamus should be the modern Austin in terms of the "Arrive. Raise Hell. Leave" attitude.

That would be cool actually. Every single time I watch him iwrestle l'm thinking "He's a ****ing badass" and then I listen to his promos and I'm baffled by his characterisation.

That's what Sheamus would be if I were in charge, lol

Stupid WWE not considering me a qualified candidate! :p

You're saying that as if Taz hasn't been horrible on commentary for the last decade.

If he's allowed, CM Punk will push himself through the match. He's not going to want to miss Wrestlemania and the chance the face Undertaker. This is really his highest profile match, even bigger facing Jericho for the title last year.

WWE will have to make that decision if it comes down to it. Hopefully for his sake it's not too bad. But it's a given now that he needs to take sometime off when Mania is over, regardless. The man pushes himself the hardest out of everyone on the roster. You can't do that for a year or so and not rest up.

- WWE, who as you will recall has been trying to bring back several former Divas, has filed a new trademark application for Kharma. They let the trademark expire in January; make of that what you will.

- The Dudley Boys have been added to WWE.com's Alumni section.

- WWE has job postings for Vice President for WWE Kids Entertainment and "Preditor/Creative Director" that you can see here and here.

Whoa, can't it be...are they reaching out to Kharma? :wow:

Alright Nell, let's go man! Get that Creative Director job and get those people in line!:up::D

I can be VP of WWE Kids Entertainment. I know what kids want from their wrestling. I see it every day.

And I'll do the exact opposite!

Absolutely...that's clearly been their plan for him. Most likely culminating with a war against Aces & Eights and a world title win at Bound For Glory.

Planned or not (not likely), the hood going back on his head was a nice visual. He looked like Anakin Skywalker or something...lol

highlight of raw :woot:

seriously if punk is that bad then he need to take time off after mania.

and again i hate to be the fan that arm chair books, but come on, this could be a prime time to turn cena heel at mania and have him dominate as a the corporate man for the time punk is injured until his return and the big match at mania 30

am i the only one seeing austin/rock 2.0 in this

trust me you're not the only one.

Punk can still be on air just not perform, cutting promos or commentary to carry on the story.

Yet perhaps using it as part of the angle could work, Kane upset over the death of his Bearer takes out his range on Punk.

Heel Cena would be nice for a change, give him his old attitude back, get him out of his terrible clothing. The crowd boo's him enough might aswell use it.

I can just imagine Kane running over Punk with a car at WM, then the following night on raw

''I did it for my brother''

We noted yesterday that CM Punk may have been injured in Monday's RAW main event against Kane. Word is that it was an injury to his arm that is said to not be severe. There were rumors yesterday afternoon that Punk is suffering from a knee injury but those are not true.

Hell In a Cell is being considered as one of the stipulations for Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H at WrestleMania 29.

great another HHH gimmicky match.
