I liked the ppv overall. Tons of questions to be answered though. Is nash back? rehired?

How do miz/truth fit in vs punk and triple h.

Where does the super sayin cena go from here?

Is kelly kelly turning heel?

Punk can easily say the only reason Hunter won was because he saved his ass from being jackknifed.

Not at this moment. If the Kelly sucks chant continue though, then yeah, but its Buffalo, Beth Phoenix's hometown.

Cena alone isn't gonna make Vince billions. Austin alone didn't make Vince a billionaire.

Yeah I just wanted to use the CM Punk quote. He's basically brought me back to watching wrestling again. I haven't kept track of what's been going on since Austin retired back in the day but I was reading Grantland (this ESPN off-shoot website) and they were talking about CM Punk and now I'm on the verge of getting one of those best in the world CM Punk shirts.

The business isn't gonna get any bigger with Cena as "the man". Cena's talented, no doubt about it, and he's been good as the face of the company. But whether or not Punk is able to be the new frontman of the company, if the WWE really wants to gain business (instead of continuing to lose steam to UFC, MMA, etc) then they need to start mixing it up.

This isn't a "let's push Punk to the moon" post. This is a "we can't keep having SuperCena year after year" post.

I honestly feel like if they tweaked Cena's character a bit (they don't need to go back to the Attitude Era, he's just a bit too cookie cutter for the older audience right now) or even allowed him to evolve then we could have something better (again, like how Rocky Maivia became The Rock).

Wait...

So, Truth and Miz are victims of the conspiracy...yet they are a part of the conspiracy? And Del Rio is a part of the conspiracy, but it didnt matter if he was champion or not?

I feel like it could've worked if we found out there actually was a conspiracy. Truth/Miz (in typical heel fashion) find out there is a conspiracy but are seduced by the temptation of power so they join the conspiracy. Otherwise they're turning face.

But for that scenario to take place there would need to be someone in charge of the conspiracy.

Mark Henry is the new World Champion. I'd expect Orton to challenge him at Hell in a Cell two weeks from today (which is totally stupid), but will Henry keep the title until a certain Deadman returns?

Welcome to Russo booking. :funny:

I agree with Ben. It works that HHH won tonight And Punk was protected but it sounds like they made it SO clusterf***ish as possible because they weren't sure which way to do it and just threw everything in there to keep everyone confused.

One run in would have been enough by either Awesome Truth or Nash. Truth and Miz both laying out Punk and HHH. Truth Miz AND Nash? Just seemed like too much crammed in there.

Whoever said this shouldn't be one giant swerve with HHH turning his nose up to the camera to reveal he's the mastermind is right. It might be more creative if HHH Wasn't the big heel mastermind. And Truth and Miz part of the conspiracy? Not sure how I feel on that. It could work.

I enjoyed the HHH/Punk match but ending was so Russo like.

i can see those chants catching on

Kelly Kelly seems to be the type of break down into tears at those chants, but if they turn heel, can they just drop one of the Kelly's? Going by "Kelly" only would make her heel turn legit.

The problem is that they are clearly...and have been for a LONG time...victims of the conspiracy, if there was one...and the entire storyline points to there being one. Let's say that the conspiracy started about when R truth turned heel. That means that the PURPOSE of the conspiracy was to hold The Miz and R Truth down...CM Punk as well. It makes ZERO sense for the conspiracy to start because the powers that be want to hold Truth and Miz down, and then The Miz and R Truth join the conspiracy. There wouldnt be a conspiracy at all if not for holding those two down!!!!

Yeah...its not working for me at all.

Kelly beating Beth was BS. Its obvious now they had no strong plans for The Divas of Doom. They just put them together to feed to Kelly to keep her busy and maybe get her over in quick fix fashion.

Del Rios MITB win and cash in and title run has been a joke. They never should have given it to him so soon but getting beat that fast makes him look like a chump who deserved it even less.

He's the new Swagger.

Ad least Mark Henry won the title CLEAN from Orton apparently. Thas great.

Henry is the new World Champion due to longevity, although I have been enjoying this recent heel turn of his.

Enjoy the title while it lasts Mark, because the Deadman is likely to be the one who has a legit shot of taking that title away from you after Orton.

Del Rio was ruined awhile back...long before he even won the belt. Losing to Edge at mania and the weak build to that with several losses to Christian really hurt him in a way that he may never recover from. It is back to the midcard and a major rebuilding of him, if they ever plan to.

Triple H doesn't need to have been in on it all along. Since the start I've been saying it would be more natural and believable if he really was innocent through all of this, but just gets pushed too far by Punk and ends up snapping/turning.

Even after all this, if Punk keeps mistrusting Triple H, as Triple H has bigger worries like why Johnny Ace tried to screw him, and his best friend continually making his life harder, eventually Triple H cracks under the pressure and goes all Mr. McMahon on their asses.

All these people are making his life/job hell, after he tried to be a good boss, so what does he do? Turns enemies into friends to take out the real pain in his ass who started all of it, Punk. Ace is the ultimate yes man, all Hunter has to do is pay him a little more and make it clear who he works for. Miz and Truth would settle down and join for the chance of more opportunities that would come with being aligned with the conspiracy. Nash and Hunter decide it's stupid to fight when they can work together to screw everyone else and watch eachothers backs just like the Kliq did good old days.

This leaves the two people involved who he wouldn't be able to buy off or control. Cena and Punk. Survivor Series we get Cena, Rock, Air Boom, and (who cares) against Del Rio and a bunch of corporate controlled heels like Awesome Truth and 2 other stooges. Then you get Team Punk (Punk, KoW, Colt) vs. Team HHH (HHH, Nash, maybe Waltman, and some one else HHH was bought the loyalty of).

December PPV, Triple H beats Cena for the title, meanwhile Punk is told he'll never get another shot as long as Triple H is in charge... unless he wins the Rumble. Punk wins, WM main event = HHH v Punk.

I can't believe this, but I'm really starting to dig Mark Henry. His push has been booked well: It reminds me of Vader from WCW.

So other than facing Orton a million more times in a row and probably Sheamus, who else does Henry face?
