Josh Matthews really needs to start announcing Punk like he announces Cena.

SEE EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMAH PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPUNK!

Punk started calling him Dwayne a while back... Cena's doing it now.

Heh. So now Cena has to try and steal CM Punk's style. Sounds like Cena. The only time I ever really liked Cena was when he first debuted and was just kind of like this dude who wrestled well. However, that first match he had was against Kurt Angle and Kurt worked hard and could make anyone look good.

You mean Justin Roberts? I'll bet Rima Fakih would be a much better ring announcer than him!

Honestly, Punk's the only one in that ring who has any claim to being Superstar of the Year. Any achievement Miz had was overshadowed by Cena and Rock trying to have a measuring contest, and Del Rio was overshadowed by Cena and Punk's legitimately interesting storyline that he was just shoehorned into. And Randy was just plain old Randy all year.

What's the big deal of calling Rock by his actual first name? It doesn't mean anything. Heck, Vince called CM Punk by his first name in their promo over the summer.

It's not like it's a secret. His celebrity name is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson anyway.

I'm not saying that there is a problem with it. I just haven't watched wrestling in years and thought maybe there was more behind it. Like they were trying to bill this Rock/Cena match as something "personal".

Punk made wrestling relevant.. It was even on ESPN. He should get it by default.

Lettuce b cereal. I'm not trying to be negative but jeeze I'm very bored with tonight's show. But it was great to see Lita, especially the D, O, double G.

It should be, and Cena should treat it that way.

Without question. It's a no-contest.

Wade Barrett... Totally didn't see that coming... :whatever:

Punk wins on Sunday. :awesome:

Yeah, I guess it should be personal...but I think it's not working the way the WWE creative wants it to. Unless they want to slowly turn Cena heel. Just seems like they are trying to go for something like Rock/Hogan years back...but that match was way too special.

I figure that Cena will eventually turn heel for the match...and then the Rock will put Cena over and then hopefully they'll make Cena face again. I'd much rather see CM Punk vs. Rock at Wrestlemania but I guess they are considering Cena as like THE top guy in the company.

Pretty surprised Miz beat Punk with one finisher!

Agreed. After WrestleMania I stopped watching WWE programming until all of the buzz began with the CM Punk shoot promo.

Bwa ha... I totally wish more people would slap the mic out of Miz's hand when he talked.

Miz sounds like such a moron there, like he's trying to be too cool of turning Punk's phrases around on him.

I voted for Mark Henry.

It's very hard for me to believe that Cena will turn heel. They're teasing it but they did the same thing a number of times throughout the years. Unlike the glory days the WWE has no problemo with face versus face matches. Unlike The Rock, Cena will be sticking around beyond WrestleMania. And they have this mentality that faces earn them more cash (merchandise). Unless Cena converts at WrestleMania by shaking The Rock's hand and everything goes back to normal the next day on Raw.

What's really bad is he didn't drop any kind of pipebomb. He just said "Oooooh you gunna LOOZ!"
