Amy “Lita” Dumas Addresses Arrest, Uso’s DUI Case Continued

Posted on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 8:13 pm

– As reported earlier, former WWE talent Amy Dumas (a/k/a Lita) was arrested Friday in Columbia County, Georgia on charges of speeding in excess of maximum limits and driving with a suspended license. She was released on $2,200 bond and has already poked fun at the matter.
She tweeted Saturday afternoon, “You guys make a Team Extreme jailbird graphic yet? Get to work! #slackers.”

Lita just became ten times more awesome than she ever was before.

Details On Michael Cole's Crass Joke About Lilian Garcia On SmackDown

Returning to WWE after a more than two-year hiatus, Lilian Garcia appeared on Friday's episode of SmackDown as the program's new ring announcer.

Tony Chimel introduced Garcia to the live audience at the start of the broadcast, who was already standing in the ring. As Garcia talked about how great it was to be back, she was interrupted by Cody Rhodes, who was standing on the announce table. Rhodes said no one cares she is back since no one noticed she had left. Garcia danced with Hornswoggle later during the show, which gave commentator Michael Cole the opportunity to air a crass backstage joke.

He cracked, "I wish these two would stop horsing around!"

The reference stems from those in WWE's "inner circle"—Vince McMahon, Triple H, television producer Kevin Dunn and the since departed John "Bradshaw" Layfield—often joking that Garcia has a horse-shaped face. The crass joke was passed around backstage years ago and ultimately acknowledged on television by Layfield and Hunter to amuse company employees. Though Garcia has publicly taken the joke in stride, Mick Foley took offense to Hunter demeaning the "Decade Diva" during an episode of Raw last year in which she had filled in for regular ring announcer Justin Roberts.

He wrote online after watching on television Triple H tell Garcia she can always return to WWE to "horse around," "Why does someone like Triple H, one of the most talented, well paid guys in the business, do something so shallow and mean? Why would a multi-millionaire, with millions of fans around the world, feel the need (several times over the years) to say something that is only meant to hurt? I don’t get it. I don't get why it's done, I don't get why it's condoned, I don't get what possible satisfaction anyone involved gets from demeaning someone like Lillian Garcia. I just don't get it."

The latest reference was likely directed by Triple H, who filled in for McMahon at Tuesday's SmackDown taping since the WWE CEO was off visiting U.S. Armed Forces serving in Afghanistan and Kyrgyzstan. Cole is the mouthpiece of the program director, as he is fed lines via headset. It was not the only mean-spirited remark on Friday's show as Cole made light of Jim Ross suffering from Bell's palsy after Josh Mathews said Cole speaks out of both sides of his mouth.

Cole quipped, "Actually, there is nothing wrong with my mouth, unlike J.R.'s."

Wow. I just don't see what the point is in trying to get Coel THIS hated because there never seems to be any long term payoff.

I agree with Foloey. Its nice to know The WWE braintrust can be as big a group of *****es in real life as they are on tv. :o

That comment Cole made of JR, I was shocked when I heard it. I was wondering how they let something so mean spirited on a taped program.

And then I remembered I was watching WWE.

I knew that the moment that Lilian was brought back to the WWE, Michael Cole would make fun of her.

I dare Michael Cole to make fun of someone like CM Punk or Mark Henry. If he makes fun of Henry, Cole would be the newest inductee into Henry's Hall of Pain.

Cole is a raging *****ebag anyways. I wonder when his WWE contract ends.

It's a mugshot, where you know they don't care about making you look good, and it looks like she has no makeup on. I don't know why people always have to jump the the druggie conclusion when someone shows up on a bad photo.

Oh, I didn't realize it was a mugshot. :whatever::oldrazz:

I have a picture of her right in front of me from one of those Diva shoots. Her face is very full. And, no, she isn't wearing makeup. I said...it either looks like she lost a lot of weight...or she could be on drugs. Maybe she isn't. Considering that I live in a part of the city that is over run by drugs and I see drug addicts all the time that have the same shape as her face...yes, it's easy to jump to that conclusion. Maybe she's just freakin' starving herself. In other words...that picture does not do her justice.

That makes one disturbing flip book.

Dammit, this comment just had to inspire to me work this out in... 20 minutes.

I was wondering whether anyone here would put the Kane promo/TDKR teaser poster similarities together. :awesome:

Champion vs Champion

CM Punk vs Robert Roode

Faces of the company

John Cena vs AJ Styles

Street Fight

James Storm vs Sheamus

Legend vs Legend

Sting vs Triple H.

Taker vs Sting is too easy and I'd like to see how HHH would work the Stinger.

Love these three choices as well, I never even thought to include the part timers.

Hey guys, I'm doing a slammy version on my website, looking for a creative name, though, and can't find one. It's called Wrestling Rambles, any suggestions that matches the name?

Royal Ramble awards? :woot:

It might be a lousy pic but it's impossible for her to ever look bad. Even if her age is starting to show. I'd still take her.

In the back of a Volkswagen?

Wow. I just don't see what the point is in trying to get Coel THIS hated because there never seems to be any long term payoff.

I'm not violent by nature but I'd love to see Vince, Triple H and Michael Cole get a hard kick to the face.

Haha that's awesome!

:funny: My bad, there are three mugshots that I did not add to the collection earlier.

Aww, this would have been perfect for it, too. Oh well, maybe I'll modify it later on.

I'm gonna frame and hang this up:oldrazz:
If I ever go to any wrestling conventions under the PW247Radio banner, I am bringing prints of this, a few drawings I've done over the years, and that Brodus Clay missing poster to sell.

I just hope I don't piss too many people off.

I think at this stage, those Clay posters will come in handy.

...BE a Star and all... I'd still love to hear what Punk has to say about WWE's "anti-bullying" stance.

Yeah. The Be A Star program is stupid. Don't get me wrong I like the idea of having these anti bully campaigns. But I don't like it when it's ran by bullies. Humiliating female such as Vickie or Mickie James on television due to their weight. Making inside horse jokes about Lillian Garcia (I think she looks absolutely stunning). The JR jokes that never stops. Usually they do this to people they see as push overs. You never hear Michael Cole making a fat joke about Mark Henry or criticizing Kelly Kelly for being too thin. And they justify it by saying "it's just entertainment".

WWE shouldn't have been granted the opportunity to be involved in the anti-bullying campaign, when the business(scripted or not) itself is full of bullying(sneak attacks, promos bashing one another, the fact that people hurt each other in the ring etc). The whole thing is ironic.

It's gotten to the point where Cole isn't just a heel character but more of a vessel for the bosses verbal diarrhea. It's one of those things where Punk is going to have to drop another pipe bomb and maybe set up a feud with Triple H at the beginning of the year.

On another topic, Lita looks normal , Scott looks hideous , and Natalya looks smoking hot.

Also love that TDKR advertisers have been watching wrestling. Unless Bane destroys the mask in the film , that would be badass.

Yeah for real. As we all know it's just so Vince McMahon and the WWE could look somewhat better in the public's eye.

I like Triple H more than most, but he can be such a dick.

By that logic, no TV station, comic book company, or movie studio should be able to support an anti-bullying campaign. I can't buy that.

Eh, I think that's what the whole "Kool-Aid Man" reference was about. When Henry was wearing red (and about 50lbs heavier than now), his body shape did indeed conjure images of a KAM.

Then again, people might be scared to anger Henry. After the "joke" that got Hayes suspended, Henry's reaction to that might have people a little edgy about insulting him, even in Kayfabe.
