isn't Cena the only MITB winner to have failed his cash in attempt??

WWE has come a long way since the Chris Kanyon thing.

To be perfectly honest, I think the WWE would have been a fairly okay place to come out in during Kanyon's time as well. It's Kanyon's own tragic personal issues and mental health problems that prevented that from happening in as normal a way as it is happening with Young now.

Yes he is. And that's because he is the only one to cash it in for a straight up fight, rather than cashing it in at the opportune moment.

I.E. Right after the champion just got the **** beat out of them.

- At this time, Daniel Bryan vs. Randy Orton is scheduled to main event the WWE Night of Champions pay-per-view in September.

While it remains to be seen who will be the champion for the match, it appears that John Cena dropping the WWE Title at SummerSlam, or the night after, is very likely. With the constant teases that Orton will be cashing in at SummerSlam on Sunday, that appears highly unlikely at this point. They may do an angle at the PPV where it'll look like he's about to cash-in but it won't end up happening. The current word is Daniel Bryan will wind up leaving SummerSlam with the title. The feud with Randy Orton will begin shortly thereafter, likely on RAW.

As noted earlier, Cena will be taking time off following SummerSlam to have elbow surgery so they need to get the title off him.

RVD announced his cash in like a month before the ppv

So you think Kanyon was lying or exaggerating when he said WWE didn't want him to come out? That Boy Kanyon thing in that Undertaker segment was kinda lame.

I wonder if Cena will do a good bye speech on Raw after Summerslam and talk about needing elbow surgery OR they'll write him off in a storyline similar to Punk after WM

How long does it take to recover for elbow surgery?

I sympathize with all the demons Kanyon was dealing with back then, but he said so many things at that time, some of which contradicted other things he said, some of which were outright nuts, that his credibility was really questionable to me.

And to be fair, it's quite common for a bitter ex-WWE wrestler launch a host of unproven allegations against the WWE and his former colleagues.

True very true. I'm going to post that segment in case no one knows what I'm talking about. [YT]hS7r4GBwJms[/YT]

Kudos to Darren on making such a bold decision. One of the most important things you can do in life is to be true to yourself.

As for Kanyon, I met him a few times and he was such a great guy. He was a solid worker, but WWE never gave him a chance for whatever reason. It saddens me he suffered from depression and became bi-polar before he took his life away.

Yeah I was lucky enough to have met him as well, he was so cool and nice when I met him. It's a shame they way he went out

I hope this happens.

I'm going into this telling myself that Cena will win. That way if Bryan does win then I'll be more excited. I hope none of you guys freak out if he loses.

Much respect for Young, and I'm glad to see WWE standing by him. And dammit, props to Cena too. I hate his character, but the man is just a good dude.

To me, it looked as though AJ began to tap and so Nattie released the hold. The ref wasn't aware and thus didn't call for the bell, and Nattie probably should have held it until the bell was rung. From there they improvised, I guess, and did the spot again.

It also seemed as to me though when Nattie took the ref's hand in the middle of the ring it was if she was almost saying, "It's ok, don't worry about it".
I love Natty but I think Natty botched & just let go too early. They done jobbed her out so long she forgot how to win properly

RVD did it.

But it looks like that may have been addressed already.

Impact's opening with the ladder match

Lol, with AJ's new look, I keep thinking WTF is Ambrose doing on TNA now?!
