So just for clarification's sake, you are saying that you have never noticed the 2012 thread with the offensive title before today, or any of the mockery of this belief in the supernatural, going all the way back to December 31st, 2006 ?

I guess it's just my own bad luck that every time I've ever so much as said that the Bible was "baloney", or that it predicted "screwy" things (without making any personal attacks mind you), it was always at a time that your baby didn't need tending, so you just happened to be able to warn me, give me infractions and threaten to permaban me, immediately after the "problematic post".

Nostradamus predicted a lot of stuff, I mean a lot. He got a crap load of stuff wrong but he has gotten some stuff right. For some reason people highlight the vague crap he predicted without mentioning his low precision.

I don't know if he gave a date for the destruction of the world.

The year 2012,was when the Mayan calander ended.The Maya were indeed perhaps the smartest people of their time,the end of the Maya came when the Spanish,who were white at the time,came,and conqured the people.The maya thought they were White Gods .

No he did not but he did predict a world event for that year.

He predicted that a huge comet with hit the north east of the US that year.NYC in particular was pointed out for destruction by the comet.

He also predicted that starting around the year 2009 World War 3 would begin and last 27 years which puts the world surviving till at least 2037.

He even made more predictions for the world far more into the future then that.

Even thou he made quite a few "world disaster" predictions , Nostradamus NEVER said the world would end in 1666, 1999, 2012, 2096, or any of those years. In fact, he predicted that after almost 30 years of WW3 there will be one thousand years of peace, or a new golden age. Nostradamus quatrains did not go beyond 3786 if I'm right According to a letter written to one of his sons,Nostradamus claimed that 3797 is the year the world will end.

I think you might be getting a few things mixed up.The only prediction that I know of with that exact date marked as the end of the world is known as the "Baktun" also known as the "Maya calendar" ....which has been refered to a few times here.

I know of no Ancient Chinese prophesies stating that date as the end of the world......and as a matter of fact both the "Ancient Chinese Calender" and the " I Ching" also known to us as the "Book of changes" which were both written before 2800 B.C.E have prediction for the human condition dating as far into the future as the year 3358.

So if you have anymore information on what your talking about please share it.

Hey, I was banned from the Christmas thread because I said it was too commercial! It wasn't even offensive either! I'd post it here but he deleted it and every other post I made that week revealing what had transpired.
