The Year 2012 (Merged)

do you know how funny it would be if Obama ends up being the anti-christ?

That sure would be ironic. It'd also be ironic since it was a movie that put that into our minds that the Anti-Christ would be a politician (though the idea is not far-fetched at all).

In the bible, it says that NOBODY will know when the world shall end, not even Jesus, or any of the prophets, or any man...so this is B.S.

I don't believe in the 2012 bulls***, but why wouldn't Jesus know? For all we know, God knows everything that will happen from today until the end of time, and since he'd be the Creator, he'd know when he'd want end the world.

Good point

If Jesus and God are suppose to be the same entity why wouldn't he know?

^Exactly.

what movie?

The Omen. It does not state anywhere in the Bible that the Anti-Christ (The Beast from the Earth) would be a politician. But because of that movie, everybody thinks that the Anti-Christ would be a politician. Hell, we don't even know what role the False Prophet (The Beast from the Sea) would be, but the Bible does imply that he will be some sort of right hand man of the Anti-Christ.

It also says Woman was created by mixing dirt with a rib bone. *cough*

Not everyone believes everything the Bible says. That being said, it's not like I think the world will end in 2012 either; I think the idea of the world "ending" is pretty dumb.

This stuff is really creepy. What if God didnt create a universe at all?

I think 2012 as the end of the world is bs too but that doesn't mean that something highly significant won't happen.

Good point

If Jesus knows, I bet he's pissed off because no one is gonna make it to his 2012th birthday party :o

Well Jesus and god are two seperate entity's. Don't quote me on this but Jesus himself says only "The father knows" when the world will end....

Thats what I believe but that is not how many Christians present Jesus.

Carcharodon's Avy shows enough of what will happen on Decemeber 21st 2012.

Sharks of all types will unite and jump on land and surprise us with the secret they have been hiding all this time...that they can breath air and have little legs that come out so they can move on land.

They will spread out and eat up all of mankind FTW!

No, I'm saying it never said Jesus doesn't know when the world will end. Jesus is a God (father SON holy spirt) thus, he does know.

Really?

How do you explain Mathew 24:35-36 which is the words of Jesus Christ himself.

"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words shall not pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone."

Well then I stand corrected. Regardless I still believe Jesus knows when the world will end.

So you don't believe in the validity of the Bible?

I'm just curious to know why people who profess their particular religion can at the same time reject some parts of their scripture while accepting others?

How do you arrive at the conclusion to know what to accept and what to reject? Logic dictates it should be all or nothing.
