Yeah, I was all worried about this but then I read an interview with someone with a Ph.D in Anthropology who had specialiized in the Mayans... and he essentially said that the entire thing was ******** and the Mayans were just going to have to make a new calendar in 2012, not that the world was going to end. He seemed pretty annoyed in the interview too haha. I think he said something along the lines of 'Every single lecture I give now ends up at this topic, and the more I debunk it, the more it seems people bring it up. NOTHING WILL HAPPEN.'

well...i'm keeping an open mind. i can definitely see where people would think that nothing is going to happen, especially because of the Y2K scare....but regardless of whether something happens in 2012 or not, the world will be going through drastic changes in the upcoming years. we're definitely entering a new era/age.

The Mayans seemed confident that they would still be around after 5126 years. I still like the fact that they had star maps and knew our position in this galaxy so many years before modern science knew.

My facts are not quite clear on this, however I remember watching a Doco on the Mayans and they showed a picture of some kind of ancient telescope thingy that looked like a sundial but with a hole in the middle and it was elevated facing up. Somehow they managed to chart whole constellations with it, pretty crazy stuff considering how long ago it was.

The three circles at Stanton Bridge, are extremely simplistic in form, and nothing we haven’t seen already since the dawn of crop circles. This triangular form of circles has appeared countless times; however, if we are to gain anything from interpreting the design, we need to delve deeper into why they have formed in this manner.​

An event of this kind would be totally ignored, being inevitably overshadowed by the more complex and spectacular formations we have come to expect from the phenomenon year after year. Although we must not spend any less time in trying to interpret what has occurred here, than decoding the more impressive designs due to form between the months of July and August.​

This small (triple circle) event at Stanton Bridge, I personally feel plays a huge part in understanding the true nature of the crop circles, and how we can break through into higher levels of consciousness. It is showing us the lower levels of the ‘Tree of Life’ and the path we all need to take, as this is the crucial step to enlightenment.​

If we take the lower circle (in image above by John Montgomery), this is called ‘Objective Consciousness.’ This is where we are here and now. It is also the place where we make the decision to act. Many teachings of Freud and Jung have told us that we must proceed directly from Objective Consciousness to Sub-Consciousness. This would be too hard for many people to undertake, and if we return to the Stanton Circles, we have no path to take. What this design could be showing us is an alternative path, which will allow us to truly understand ourselves before we are ready for the next journey. So from the base circle of ‘Objective Consciousness,’ we move to Desire (top right circle). This takes us straight to our power house and the source of our motivation.​

From Desire we go to Intellect (top left circle). This is the source of our beliefs. This is where we must examine our faith and our belief system. Next, we return to Objective Consciousness (base circle) so that we can act with desire and belief. From that point, we can then move to Sub-Consciousness and then to Cosmic Consciousness. If the Stanton Circles had these two elements attached to the design, it would have completed the bottom portion of the ‘Tree of Life’ However, how many times have we witnessed the classic dumbbell design with the two circles connected together! Is this (third circle and beyond to complete Tree of Life) the other part of our journey?”​

The August 12, 2007, crop formation had two meanings: (a) six days left until August 18, 2007, which was an inferior conjunction between Venus and our Sun, or (b) six Sun-Venus conjunctions left until Venus transit on June 6, 2012. The 2007 crop formation showed planetary locations of Jupiter, Saturn, Mars or Moon on several Sun-Venus conjunctions leading up to June 6, 2012.​

A crop picture from Secklendorf, Germany on June 23, 2008, used an ancient Mayan Sun-Venus calendar of 104 years to date when their Long Count calendar would end on December 21, 2012, see below in this Earthfiles report and originally HERE.​

Now, on July 4, 2008, the Mayan number 3 has appeared at Stanton Bridge. If field inspection determines that picture to be real, then it probably means: ‘three superior conjunctions left until our current Sun-Venus calendar ends on March 28, 2013.’ The astronomical data are listed below:

The most remarkable feature of this new crop picture is that it chooses to use a time symbolism of "2 x 20 = 40 days" until the lunar eclipse in mid-August. Many other crop pictures over the past few weeks have shown Mayan themes, for example in Germany. Since the Mayans kept 20 days in any month, as opposed to 30 days for most Western calendars, then one implication of this new picture might be that the crop artists follow a Mayan calendar rather than a Western one (see HERE or HERE).”​

The year 2012, more specifically December 21 of that year, is the latest prognosticated date for the end of the world. I, for one, think the December 21st part is DEFINITELY a hoax. It is too pretty(12-21-12) and too cute to be the actual end date. 2012, however, I am not completely convinced it is a hoax or joke.

By now I am sure most know that 2012 signifies the end of the mayan calendar. This really holds no significance in most peoples normal lives but it does have significance. The ending of this calendar means that modern man is losing touch with it's roots and what got it to this point. We are about to enter a time in history that the mayans never imagined. It will be the ending of an era of sorts.

Oddly enough, mankind is believed to be preparing to enter The Age of Aquarius in or around 2012 - if it hasn't already. We don't know the exact date because each Astrological Age is approximately 25,920 years. Our entering the Age of Aquarius makes perfect sense do to the recent findings of Mars once being a 'wet-planet' and the buzz that is gaining steam over water-powered cars. It is my belief that 2012 IS THE END! It is the actual, honest to God end of the Age of Pisces and the begining of - The Age of Aquarius.

So what does this mean? Is there going to be some massive global change that takes place and is thrust upon every man, woman, and child? Not likely.

Here is a list of what can be expected of the new age:

- a powerful change that will sweep through our world, the shift in mood, action and intention that is already palpable.

- In the New Age we break free of centuries of false doctrines, destructive indoctrinations, absurd ideas, and children’s stories about God, education, medicine, and love.

- The corrupt foundations of false society crumble.

- This time of crises is not the signal of the end of the world. What comes is not the end, but the beginning. The dream humanity has lived for centuries ends and we awaken to a bright new day, a bright new way.

- in the Age of Aquarius, everything becomes unified. All our differences, all our dualities mix together.

- our drastic differences dissolve and we integrate into the whole. We integrate and unify with the energy of the universe, with the great cosmic spirit.

- Mystically, Aquarius signifies friendship. Friendship bursts upon us in its most elevated sense, in its most noble aspect — with understanding, collaboration, and fraternity. Love and friendship will have nothing to do with possessing or ego. The idea of love meaning "you belong to me" ends in the New Age. The thought of friends of convenience, friendship based on an ulterior motive such as business ends. Love and friendship based on anything other than pure love, the divine and pure love of God, changes the sentiment into a coin of exchange — you no longer have love or friendship because of who you are, but because of what you do or can do for me.

- This is the era of peace, of unity, of love. The polarity of Aquarius, Leo, floods us with its complementary characteristics. The celestial throne of the Sun, Leo, encourages, ennobles, enriches, and enlightens us for the growth of our hearts, the growth of our inner beings. Together with Aquarius, Leo promotes the integration of our individuality with our unity with all humanity. We realize that we must first be something in and of ourselves to be something for others.

I must admit, this new age sounds pretty good. Don'y get you hopes up though. These changes are not just going to happen overnight. This new age has been built up to for 1000's of years. The 1960's even heralded it's coming with the song 'Age of Aquarius.'

Yes, this new age is coming and yes it is sometime in 2012 but I wouldn't hold my breath for something extraordinary to happen, at least not anything that people would expect with such a universal event.

But, I could be wrong and the entire Apocalypse could unfold - again.

Don't forget planet X (Niburu) for 2012 also. Even the Bible seems to predict meteors hitting the earth from the book of Revelations.

I don't see anything happening on or around December 21, 2012. I've already seen so many false prophecies that I simply do not believe them anymore. At the moment, we may feel like we are progressing toward disaster (a concern that seems to come with each generation), but I am optimistic that change will counter it (as it does with each generation's problems).
