Arrow Theories about who is in the Grave Stone

people seem on the fence on rather they'd actually kill his son... but what about the mother? (I know she isn't really a main character, and most of the other characters don't even know about her to react the way they do) but, her death could still be significant (especially if she dies protecting her son)

I vaguely remember reading an interview with a cast member (can't remember who) that gave me the impression that whomever is going to get killed is someone they've been working with for a while now so that rules out Donna. Although I wish it was her. What an annoying character! Same with it not being William or his mother.

To further what I said. I also said this in the general discussion thread prior. it's very possible the person that was killed was also some one they got to know really well recent before the event of the grave happens and that Barry showing up was to support a buddy and Oliver is his best buddy. especially now for the time being we won't be seeing hal Jordan til wb be makes up minds . And barry is that type of person that would support a buddy.

also a child losing any parent is something major for that kid as well. I can see them playing on that as well. and felicity being unhappy about that if she got to know the mother prior to this despite what ever initial reservation she had.

If felicity got to know the other woman well and be came friends with that person it'll upset her. .

The best way to do a mystery is to make it an unlikely suspect. They've already hinted at Lance being in danger, Thea only just came back from dying so it would be watered down. William and his mother are so likely that it wouldn't be a surprise. Felicity's mother wouldn't be big enough. The only two that would really have value would be Laurel and Diggle.

Barry, Oliver and Felicity are all at the grave. This hints at Diggle really, the two members of original team Arrow and Barry who he's been in a crossover with this season.

I'm going to kill him is a mystery too and Darhk is way too obvious. He could be talking about Andy potentially.

Laurel has longer term value as the true love of Oliver Queen, so my money is on Diggle.

I feel a bit like this too.

The first couple of seasons were so good, but now it's more of a habit than anything else.

To be honest, I don't really care who is in the grave now I know it's not Felicity and that's not good.

Doughtful it's William. Rumors have it he is on Legends of Tomorrow in some form. I still think Thea is a candidate and that malcum is the main antagonist for that scene leading up to next season. If not thea, possibly Laurel which wouldn't be a huge loss for the show really. I think diggle is too huge for the show to lose as well as lance, for plot purposes.

Speaking of next season, I am curious if it will be the last. I was hoping for 6 but it's looking like it could be the last.

after today's episode I'm definitely thinking its thea in the grave. DD is useless and Malcom has a huge bone to pick with Ollie.

My money is on Diggle since i want it to be a really important character. Not that i dont like diggle but if they do someone like felicitys mom, its not gonna have much effect on people since we have only seen her for less than ten episodes. Diggle dies and curtis replaces him as a member of team arrow in the computers area. This way team arrow still has one guy other than oliver and less people on the field

At this point I just want Diggle and Thea to survive. I don't dislike Laurel either but wouldn't be super sad to see her go.

I feel like it won't be one of the costumed heroes, though. Quinton Lance, Donna Smoak, Lila Diggle, Samantha Clayton. Or maybe they bring back Roy for an episode and kill him.

I'd laugh if it were Sara again.

I agree, when they started giving Donna more to do and letting us get to know her more I immediately started to suspect they were building her up for a purpose, and that purpose is death.

Although there are those grave photos that could indicate that it is possibly either William or the mom.

I've had a hunch on Felicity's mom ever since we first saw the grave. No idea why...

The more I've seen, the more the story-arc seems to back it up. Introducing her more and more, love-interest with Capt Lance, everything seems to be flowers and happiness - only to have tragedy happen shortly after. Cliches have taught us that.

Well, if I remember correctly in a flash forward, Felicity was very upset when Oliver got into the limo. I do not believe she would be having this reaction unless it was her Mother. I believe she told Oliver to kill that ..... insert bad language.

Felicity cannot die. She is indestructible. Even if the writers wanted to kill her off, they couldn't. She has grown too powerful at this stage. Even Darkseid is an insect compared to her.
