"Eidos Teases... Thief 4?

UK, April 15, 2009 - Eidos Montreal has teased its next project on its official site, and the font delivering the message has led to speculation that the unannounced game could be Thief 4.

Eidos Montreal is currently at work on Deus Ex 3, the latest instalment in the espionage tinged first person series that's been shrouded in an appropriate level of mystery, with few details having made it beyond the studio walls.

A post on the developer's official site says the studio's next project will be revealed soon, employing a font familiar to fans of the Thief series. Scant details indeed, but enough to stir forums into a speculating frenzy.

The Thief games are held in high regard, with the last instalment, Deadly Shadows, receiving an 8.8 upon review back in 2004.

No official word has come from Eidos on what the Montreal studios' next game is – but expect more concrete details soon. "

I swear if Eidos announces one more game not named Hitman, im gonna flip....


Thief 4 would be cool tho.

I wouldn't mind seeing another Thief game getting made it's a good series. But Hitman has to return at some point also.

Yes and no, there hasnt been any official statement but Eidos has stated that Hitman 5 has begun development.

In regards to Thief tho, as i stated im all for it. Love stealth titles so this would be one more that i would add to my collection.

I had to bump this thread because I just saw an advert for this game. I played this on the very first laptop I owned years and years ago, and I loved it. I want to buy it for PS3, but it's a bit pricey at $60. Has anyone played it? Does anyone have any reviews on it?

there here in this link well some of them it it wasn't received that well. over all but you should play it your self later if you won't pick it up right away.

since spock was banned I've forgotten about this thread. so many doubles that should have been merged

Thanks! I'll check that out. I'm interested in playing it, but not interested in paying $60.

there's also some I put up a page over prior to that too. I try to put them up when they put them out . and I also personally try and take in what they're saying beside the score. if what their saying doesn't makes sense then it's not worth listening to and I take that into account. cool avatar BTW.
