I have to say, the new Batmobile is growing on me. Not what I would have gone with, but it looks like an urban riot vehicle. I can respect that.

Ah yes, Man of Steel, a movie so dedicated to the 'Superheroes ONLY learn from their fathers' ideal that it:
- Gave him two dads.
- Gave them both massive attention to the detriment of their wives.
- Killed off both of them.
- Killed of one of them twice, just for extra tragedy.
- Gave one of their wives like two seconds of dialogue and NO FREAKIN' HOLOGRAM GEEZ WHAT A GREAT HUSBAND YOU ARE JOR-EL!

But still, Ma Kent got a bit of focus, so Snyder is still better than 'My wife/girlfriend/fiance/random woman I just met' is dead and that's my motivation' Chris Nolan, so there's that. But that's like claiming your fit because you can outrun a tub of lard.

It was horrible dialogue indeed, and Thomas Wayne sounding like a migrant German supervillain didn't help.

- always had two dads..
- Lara was the one who found earth and sent kal off.
- Killed Lara as well and in the most emotional way.
- I think that scene was important, showing Zod and Jor el again was awesome.
- She had a lot more than 2 seconds dude. alot more. I do agree about the hologram thing though lol.

But yeah, every scene with Martha was soo good.

Those pics are AWESOME. The scale of Gotham looks massive in this.



I don't see anything of the '89 Batmobile in that design. It looks all Tumbler inspired.

Guess it's just me. But I see it in there somewhere.

Based on everything Rocksteady has said I would think so.

They planned their trilogy perfectly, really. Each one got bigger. Arkham Island, the walled off area and then greater Gotham itself. The wider roads for easier Batmobile driving explanation is simple but makes a lot of sense. The AO/AC maps are not compromised.

is Paul Dini writing the story for this one like he did w/ Asylum & City?

i like Dini, don't get me wrong, but the story for Asylum fell really flat at the end and City was all over the place

i feel that Origins had the best story. very cohesive and great character interactions. when i first read that Joker was front & center and that he was posing as Black Mask, i thought it was going to be horrible but it was actually executed very nicely

Is that definite? Well in that case there's hope for a more nuanced and interesting story. No offense to Dini, I am a big fan of his work generally, but the story in City was weak.
