Battlefield: Hardline

The reason people play Battlefield is to have a different experience from COD. I'm starting to get annoyed by this tendency to make all shooters homogenized ; essentially just trying to copy CODs twitchy, erratic game play mechanics. Ugh.

Halo has gone the same way, trouble is they know it sells by the bucket load so they follow suit. Makes me worry for Rainbow Six too.:csad:

Rainbow Six is the definition of tactical shooting. I would be disappointed and surprised if they adopted the COD scheme.

Anyway, I tried Hotwire mode and...it was boring as hell. The match only had six players so maybe it would be better with more people but all you do is drive around in circles until the match ends. I thought it would be more dynamic than that. As of right now, there is no way I would buy this for $60. It's worth $30 maximum imo. Disappointing.

All my Hotwire games were full, and there was tons of action. Of course it would be better with more than 6 players. lol.

This is probably going to be the worst BF multiplayer in a while. It won't have the legs to keep people engaged for long, I see folks buying this and trading in within a few months.

Yeah I figured as much. I'll give it another go, but this is still not a $60 game.

I can agree with that. It doesn't seem like it will have the staying power of BF4 or 3.
