Transformers Thing's that would have made the movie near perfect.....

There is never..ever..satisfying some people they will pick at anything, even when their suggestions to make it better would obviously make it worse. This has been the best movie put out in years.

no it hasn't been. the special effects are groundbreaking and the movie is entertaining. but by no means is it the greatest in years.

The only thing I'd change is the designs of all the robots...they looked so overly complicated in the faces. I can understand the deceptions being all alien looking...but they could have simplified the faces of the autobots to me.

and also...just a little more deception interaction....as well as autobot interaction.

1. Not killing Jazz, it was useless and plays into the sterotype of killing off the black guy 1st
ok as much as it would seem that way, they chose him cause he was the third most popular character out of the autobots and they wanted a strong reaction from his death - which didnt work out to well cause not much was done on him, so for me, the only problem for the film

was either not enough development on jazz or his death was bogus in the first place and shouldnt of been him.

-Drop or improve the hacker and soldier storylines, they just felt so tacked on.
-There was some good dialog, but damn did they make the Bots cheesy. So maybe a little less cheese.
-Better explanation of certain details.

Other then that, I was pretty damn happy with everything.

It would have also helped if there was more trash talk between the TF's, much in the way Jazz acted.

1) Get rid of the Hackers plotline..period. The governement could have enventually cracked the Decepticon code.

2) Shorten the house scene. Especially the parts with Sam's mom, and his dad jumping under the table and in the bathtub.

3) Make Turtorros character not suck an annoying stooge.

4) Dedicate at least one minute to having ALL the Decepticons meeting at the dam, and discussing their next form of action. This would have made all the difference.

5) Kill the rock music during the BB vs Barricade chase, and the rock music played during Primes closing dialogue. It should have been a score. It would have been cool if during the BB/Barricade chase scene they played 'Instrments of Destruction':D...but whatever.

That's about all i can think of right now.

..oh..

6) ....and patch up those big, gigantic plotholes, like BB suddenly talking, Barricades disappearance, and scenes that jump from day to night, and back again etc....

I actually like the hacker plotline for some reason. I also loved everything with the parents and every second of Turturro. But that's just me.

Having the Decepticon's making a game plan at the Damm would have been a good idea and I agree with the music suggestions. They should have just used variations of Steve Joblonsky's score for the Barricade BB scene and Optimus' final speech. I wonder how the Autobot's arrival music would sound if it was done with nothing but a string score and eletric guitars?

BB's voice could have been easily solved by showing Ratchet working on him as the Autobot's gather to asses their losses after the battle.

That part with Optimus running around with the kids on his shoulder was stupid. Why not transform and drive off.

I think the problems with that was that they needed BB and the kids to be captured and for Prime to get the glasses. They could have easily done this by condencing the scene where the Autobots confront the Sector 7 guys. Sam gives Prime the glasses, you see a goverment agent holding his cell phone at his side, the choppers and backup arrive, Prime says to BB "you know what to do", they take off as BB stays with Sam/Mikeala and allows himslef to be captured in the hope of finding out where Sector 7 operates from because Prime suspects these people know more then they are saying.

Another thing that should have been fixed, the idea that the Transformers can be stopped by the cold. The military assumes that they can be stopped with cold but that's only because that's how they found Megatron and have been keeping him on ice but Megatron crash landed and it could be argued that the extreme heat of his entry might have put him in that state aong with the crash. They could have solved this by having Prime tell the other Autobot's that the humans think they are suseptable to the cold and BB is just faking it. Surely they would be able to adapt to any climate conditions?

i'm shocked that out of everything i've read, no one's had this thought yet. I'm actually pretty pissed i didn't hear the toon theme. My personal opinion, instead of having that damn linkin park song during prime's ending speech, that didn't match the mood or scene at all, it should have been the old school theme. Just imagine, that speech going with the theme, and then hearing "we're hearing and we're waiting" , with a screen black out, right before the credits roll, with those two lines. I would have wet my pants. Damn you bay!

Dude , get laid or shut the **** up?

Real mature. You know what they said about people who keep calling other **** or telling them to get laid, right?

Anyway... gosh, how picky of me to point out how they f****d up lines/moments that should've DEFINED what the movies was all about. :whatever:

Your SO right!

2 lines ruined the movie ... I mean ... totally!

And the fact that I've got a girlfriend for over 2 years hasnt got anything to do with getting laid now does it?

Did I miss how the Government covered up the whole Transformer fight in downtown LA?????

Maybe an updated version...I have the G1 first season on DVD and i cringe when it comes to the credits

IMO overall I say Bruckheimer nailed it. Sure there were changes here and there. Just be glad the movie wasn't released throgh FOX. Imagine the possibilities...(patiently awaiting screams).

Prime's lines were prefect, just like the original movie, nothing wrong with that.

I agree to everything except kill the rock music. I love scores don't get me wrong but the rock music in my opinion just set the mood perfect for Barricade, I loved that bastard! The Linkin Park song was unusual for a movie like that but I am a huge Linkin Park fan. I can't confess enough how I despised those goddamn hackers! I can't agree with you more on that one friend. That stupid blonde chick made me want to rip my face off, why are these scientist types or computer experts in these movies freaking girls that look like models, I mean I love hot chicks but that is so stupid, like they would be interested in that crap, plus that big fat black dude almost made the movie feel like freaking Me, Myself and Irene, his comedy sucks! Hackers was the worst!

If they had played that old cartoon version during his speech I would have walked out of the theater, lol that would have been retarted. I wouldn't have minded hearing it as one of the songs in the credits though as a homage to the original cartoon.

Movie was far from perfect, but focusing on Sam + the Transformers and nothing else would've made it better.

I thought the rock music during the Bumblebee/Barricade chase was fine. It immediately made we want to play Burnout again. :D

Anyway, things that would make the movie better.

1 - Definitely get rid of John Turturro. The entire movie was already packed with comic relief. His character was just overkill.

2 - More Decepticon dialogue. Have them throw random insults and threats during the fight, and most important of all, we need more dialogue between Megatron and Starscream.

3 - Maybe close up of Jazz getting destroyed by Megatron. His death was really weak.

4 - More close ups of Transformers during important scenes. When Prime said "At the end of this day, one shall fall, one shall stand." the camera should've been on him and Megatron, not Sam. He already got half the Movie dedicated to him.

5 - Bonecrusher/Barricade Team-up Vs. Prime.

6 - Optimus actually landing some good hits on Megatron. The fight should just be a little more even.

7 - Cut Dew-Bot, Xbox-Bot and new Car-Bot.

I agree with all that. When the X-Box 360, Dew and Escalade turned into robots, I felt dirty because of the product placement advertisment lol

After Primes final line they should have cut to black and had Kick Axe's Transformers theme kick in, that would have been ****ing awesome, and then after the song ends they should have played the original Transformers theme (from the show) as the last of the credits played.

You mean Bay of course and THANK ****ING VECTOR SIMGMA that this wasn't put in the little-greasy-money-grubbing-hands of Tom Rothman at FOX. That man has no ****ing respect for anything and would have ran Transformers into the ****ing ground!!!
