I don't dig country either. My attitude toward Superman in general is much like how I feel about James Brown; I get that his introduction helped pave the way for the many who came behind him and I can appreciate that, but I just can't get into him.

I greatly enjoy Superman. He, along with Aquaman, are grossly misunderstood by those who are outside their circle of fans. If you hate Superman, I implore you to read some Superman comics and then form an opinion off of that. And if you're still hung up on the fallacy that he's "too powerful" and "perfect" then to hell with you.

I've grown to hate Spider-Man lately.

How so? I'm saying that Superman is entertaining because he's not the perfect, all-powerful character some think he is, and you're saying that removing those things is making him boring. That sounds like a disagreement there.

I'm saying that since 1986 they have tried to downplay his powers and his perfectness without bringing anything new to the table, making him boring because the things that made him remarkable in the first place are gone.

I don't HATE Superman. I just find that like Batman, he's often the most boring character in his own books.

I love to read about Lex, Lois, Supergirl, Jimmy, Connor, Power Girl and more, but he himself? I can take him or leave him at times.

I keep having to reset my U-verse router in order to get my TV boxes to work. Started happening on Sunday and every day since. Finally getting a tech to come over this afternoon.

It's driving me crazy.
