Things you HATE, Volume II

It shouldn't make you sad ComicChick. Some of us just can't tolerate the whole "lost my gal, lost my job, lost my life" twanging that seems to be the staple of country music. Frankly I'm not fond of country music either, though there are a few (very few) songs I've learned to tolerate.

I ****ing hate that new ad on the front page of SHH. The one that pops up and wavers around, but it's an exact copy of the front page news. I have accidentally clicked on that damg thing multiple times now. Time to just save the boards into my favorites list.

Country music you may not like, but do not deny that the ones that sing it are no slouch in the hotness department. :o

Outside of R&B country is probably the most emotionally sung music. Many pop, alternative, and even jazz singers sing to stay in rhythm while country singers sing to let you know how they are feeling. It has it's own distinct sound that drives many away, but country singers really sing emotions with the best of them.

thats the staple of all music

it's just a bad stereotype on the genre

Yeah, R&B is all about that and luv, and f**king. Same with Country really. I just hate the current stuff.......and everything done by everybody not Johnny Cash or Willie Nelson.

For me, it's not about what they're singing about. I just can't stand the way it sounds. Hearing country music seriously angers me.

EDIT: Also, I grew up in Nebraska and hated it, wishing I grew up in a city so I think that may have had a part to play as well. (Because you can imagine how prevalent country music is in ranch and farm towns.)

Yeah, I hate the sound of it for the most part as well. Choice between listening to Brooks & Dunn or having a screw driver shoved into my ear? I think I'll go with the screw Driver.

I hate how there are a lot of whiny video game fans that always want to change things. Those types ruined the Splinter Cell series because after every game in the series there was people *****ing that they're tired of using that kind of gameplay.

"OMG, when is Ubisoft going to change this stealth crap? I want to play Sam Fisher in Iraq with a rocket launcher!" People were crying like that after the second damn game in the series.

I don't like stealth games so I don't buy them. Hence, no complaints about s**t I don't like cuz I knew I didn't like it in the first place, so I didn't buy it so I could b***h about it.

Wasn't a fan of the Splinter Cell series. Loved the Rainbow Six games though.

I don't know if he had an Iraq flashback in the latest game or not, but people always complained about playing a stealth game that was clearly advertised as a stealth game. Some idiots were like that with the upcoming X-Men game. Some people absolutely hate the idea of an X-Men game featuring playable X-Men characters.

I believe the reason people hate country is not just the sound but that many people just can't relate to it and hate southern accent singing (Sorry CC). Of course I'm used to it nor dislike accents because most of my family's from the south.

The only country I like is Johnny Cash.

That's the only country most people like. Johnny Cash transcends country.

It's those same idiots that complain Call of Duty is the same thing every year. Or that Halo is always the same game. People act as if sequels have to be completely different games.

I just got Black Ops, and I don't understand the complaints. The multiplayer for Black Ops is much better than MW2. It feels smoother, less glitchy, and not as much spamming. I'm tired of video game haters.

Btw, I hate console wars. I don't get why people think they have to stay loyal for one company as if they work for them.

Also, I hate people who give credit to one half of a creator and not to the other. I'm not talking about not knowing, I'm talking about people knowing that they did and just refusing to give the other credit.

I just saw a sig in the Superman boards that said Bob Kane sucks, R.I.P. Bill Finger. Both created Batman together.

I think the anger stems from the fact that on all the movies it only gave credit to Kane and never Finger. That pisses off a lot of fans and I think it's not right as well. Look at the Superman movies, they always give credit to both Seigel and Schuster(not sure if spelling is correct).

I know, but is that really Bob Kane's fault? He acknowledged that Finger is important too in the creation of Batman.

There are people who do the same thing to Stan Lee (not here but over at CBM. Man I hate the users there.)

I hate that unless something changes, by this time next year I'm either going to break my parents' hearts or have my own broken a little.

I popped a bottle of champagne at midnight, poured myself some, and remembered that I hate the taste of champagne.
