Things You HATE: Volume III

I hate worrying about getting into a university constantly. Right now I have my eye on two. One looks awesome, slightly easier to get into, and has a good rep (Sait Polytechnic ). The other is extremely popular, many of my friends will go there, and it's only a half hour away from here. Of course, it isn't as easy to get into (University of Calgary)

Thinking is hard :cmad:

I remember when I was in the college admission process. It's was long annoying, and an anxious wait. Since I applied to only 4 schools, I actually was worried I wouldn't get into any of the schools I applied to (NYU, Rutgers, Boston U, and Syracuse). I think the location shows which one I got into (I also got into Rutgers and BU).

If you applied to both, the best advice I recommend is to not think about it and occupy yourself with other things to do.

I hate that I can't seem to be happy with myself.

I don't buy that, up until that last comment you've struck me as the most confident, well-adjusted young person that I know.

Obviously you guys never seen Kristen Stewart in The Runaways. She was very good in the Runaways.

hate leaving my umbrella then all of a sudden it starts to rain

I hate people constantly coughing and hacking up god knows what at work. Do yourself and everyone else a favor ... Go Home!

...when people talk down to me like I'm a child.

being expected to do 8 hrs work in 6 hours time

I hate when my parents fight. My mother is a petty vindictive control freak little control over her anger, my father is an adult child who refuses to admit when he's had too much to drink, and they have these huge argunents about how my father spends his time. Granted, what he does can be pretty obnoxious, but they're both at the developmental level of children and it turns into this huge ego stroking shouting match. They're both too self absorbed and stubborn to admit their wrong or accept any outside help, and I get stuck in the middle because I still live with them. It's like I'm living in a poorly written public access TV soap opera full of inarticulate and unatractive actors.

It's almost as bad as when they're getting along. Then they watch Grey's Anatomy together.
