Things You HATE: Volume IV

I hate that the **** is probably hitting the fan as we speak regarding the conflict between one of my friends who is a compulsive liar, and everyone else, and that I might be about to lose him permanently. :csad:

^^^Sucks. Hope everything turns out alright.

Well his aunt he mooches off of won't be happy about his roommate filling her in on the fact that he's been exaggerating the cost of rent to get more money from her and then spending it on taking his boyfriend out to dinner...

Looks like your friend is about to get a lesson of the real world.

I hate that my b**** of an Algebra professor has barred me from registering for Math 43 just because I'm failing right now. The s***** thing is that even if I pulled my grade up I still can't register because the bar she placed on me lasts a few months regardless if I pass or not.

Meh, Math is useless anyway. Outside of basic math that is.

I hate my expensive phone bill.........:csad:

I'm 6'5 and I really hate small rooms, beds, crowded places, and cramped workstations. I also hate having to bend down to hear what shorter people are saying. I also hate finding clothes I like only to put them away because they are not my size. A short person complained to me about his height the other day and I kicked him.

What he needs is psychiatric help for compulsive lying.

I have a friend who is a pathological liar. We made fun of him and dismissed his stupid stories, but making up crap made him happy. As long as the stories weren't about us, what was the harm?

People who lie constantly aren't mentally sound. The guy probably needs your help, not your condemnation. Ask yourself if his lies, stupid as they may be, are really harmful to you and your other friends. And ask yourself if, lies aside, you still enjoy his company. If the lies don't affect you one way or the other, just ignore them and realize it's a facet of your friend's personality and that's just the way he is. People who stir up drama needlessly and drop old friends are almost as bad as compulsive liars.

I hate the 'Math question' thread with people fighting whether some answer is 9 or 1. It makes me want to strangle a unicorn.

I hate double-posts caused by the infamous Hype lag.

How terrible it must be to always be able to reach stuff on high shelves, never having to stand on your toes, finding pants in your inseam so you don't have to constantly cuff the bottoms of your pantlegs, or not looking for something to stand on in the back of a crowd so you can see what everyone else is looking at. You poor devil.

You know, I might just punch the next tall person I meet in the leg out of spite.

I hate it when my stomach starts growling right after I brush my teeth and gargle some mouthwash.

None of us are condemning him or dropping him.

I wrote a celebratory Facebook status the other day because I found a pair of petite-sized jeans that didn't require me to chop and hem the bottom of the legs. :woot: I'm 5'3" and it feels like all pants are made for women who are 5'8" or taller.

My ex-coworker. The dumbass posts on his facebook that Obama is obviously born in Kenya. He also used to say that Hitler was a great leader and the Jews brought it all on themselves. Oh and some teenage girls came into work tonight looking for him and they were upset when I told them he quit.

Darned handsome racist moron...:cmad::csad:

I know. The guy always had women around him. Yet he was one of the most shallow, worst informed people I've ever met.

Sounds like scum. People like that are best ignored. What pisses me off more than when a stranger (or co-worker) says something ignorant, is when a friend does so. The problem with facebook statuses is everyone now has an open forum to spew whatever dark, stupid thoughts are brewing in their minds. Before if they said something, you could just ignore it and forget about it, but now it's staring right at you when you open your facebook. And it's always the dumbass who has nothing substantive to say in real life who says the most over fb.

Part of me let it slide when I worked with him, because he was young and dumb. (He turned 20 shortly before he quit.) I said some dumb things at that age too. Still...I just dont know. How can someone be so ignorant?

All I can say is that he is going to get a hard slap in the face one day. He is buying his own house (his new job is as a "watcher" at a hospital. He makes good money watching "at risk" patients at night. The elderly, the mentally ill, the suicidal, etc.) at age twenty. If anything trips him up, it'll be that. He was always on his blackberry at work instead of working. Responsibility and work was not his thing. Then again, I think his parents are pretty well off, so I'm sure they'll bail him out.

He might not be. At that age, some people say stuff just for attention. Maybe his rich parents gave him everything but love growing up, so now he says anything that will make people look at him. He would rather be hated than ignored.
