Has there every been things you've noticed about yourself and people in general as you've gotten older?

For example I've noticed that as I've gotten older, I'm 30 now, the more difficult it is for me to laugh at anything. Like for some reason I just lost my sense of humor.

I'm 25 and I deal with less and less bullsh** everyday I feel. Also I have become a lot more laid back and realize the little things aren't worth getting worked up about.

Also, I hate teenagers more than anything on this planet nowadays.

That's another thing, when you're a teen yourself you'll just think that they're a bunch a jerks; but when you become an adult you realize how big of an ******* teens can really be.

as i gotten older( i am old as DIRT BABY!) i come to realize just how STUPID people are!!(and at least when i was younger we didnt post our stupid ^%% for the world to see!) so that's even STUPIDER!!

.. i always tell people when they say "Man! you are old!" HA! you would be lucky to live so long with all this stupidness around! Sonny!"

(or whatever their name is! if it isnt sonny!):cwink:

I find myself rolling my eyes more at annoying people and situations, but at the same time find it a lot easier to just ignore them and not get sucked in emotionally. I have less tolerance for drama for sure lol. If i have to say something to someone i say it directly and get it over with. When i was younger i would keep some things bottled up inside because i would worry about making anyone feel bad, but i realized how unhealthy that was.

Also, i think I'm definitely getting old, cause noise and noisy people bug me :hehe:

I do find myself a lot more relaxed though. I dont worry about some stuff now that in my teens and 20's would preoccupy me constantly, and i'm also not as concerned about people who dont agree with me or my views. Heck, i'm a lot less worried about people liking me or not :funny:

And finally, i'm also a lot more comfortable in my own skin.

The older you get the more you realize what a waste we're making our lives. It could really be something beautiful if we weren't so filled with hate.

I've also realize that as much as I use to say it didn't matter when I was younger I was wrong, sometimes money does matter. Especially when you've got bills, rent, student loans, and in most people's case kids of your own.

And that once I'm comfortable with how things are going, I hate change.

I've got zero tolerance for people's melodrama these days. Especially really tedious insignificant stuff. Some people really need to pull their heads out of their own ass and look at the bigger picture in life.

I love change. Familiarity and routines breeds boredom in me.

I realize how fast time flies and how easily people settle for less when they become adults and gain responsibilities.

:highfive:

Also I'm starting to look inside a lot more. I'm starting to care less and less what people think about me and am just trying to focus on making myself happy. I'm starting to enlighten myself spiritually more as well.

I'm seeing that your mid 20's is a pretty incredible point in ones life. Its the transformation from child to adult and you can go in many, many different directions during this time. Your actions will directly effect the man or woman you become.

The main thing I've noticed is that the older I get, the faster time seems to go by.

Very very true. Time seems instantaneous now. Wasn't it just Thanksgiving 2012?

I don't take a lot of people seriously.

I drink a little more.

Younger people annoy me.

In no rush or yearning for any sort of relationship where I would be settling.

Zero bull**** and one strike policy.

I now love watching my family open gifts I give them more than opening my own during the holidays.

The older I get the more I care about those I care about...

This thread goes a long way towards restoring my faith in humanity.

Well played, y'all.

that lifes a ***** and that who child hood idea of meeting someone amazing and it just all falling into place is a load of ********

sorry its been a crappy week :(

Things I noticed when I got older...that my high school and junior high school were much smaller than I actually thought they were.

One thing I notice as I've gotten older are the ramifications of various life events and how they explain certain traits. Wisdom is interesting.

It's not bad to work late at night
It's 3:00 am here, and we just had the electrician checking on our distribution board

Tis is scary as hell.

My trick is to avoid routine and keep on living new experiences.

Which is also something I've learned with age.

Which is also something I've learned with age.

I need to start doing this, with age my comfort " bubble" is getting smaller, work, home, sleep and repeat.
