The Amazing Spider-Man Things You Want To See In The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Peter does go to the asylum to ask Connors something in the game, it's possible that it will happen, asking Connors about Osborn.

exactly ! but in the movie:woot:

Yea, that's what I meant. Peter going to the asylum as spidey to ask Connors about Norman in the second film.

I just hope that Sony decides to continue on with Marc Webb.

On another note, I did like on how Captain Stacy told Peter that he'll end up making a lot of enemies, hopefully foreshadowing a rich amount of well developed villains for Andrew's Spider-Man to take on.

- Gwen Stacy's death. This should come at the climax of the second movie and propel Peter through the third. I know a lot of people don't want that to come until the third movie, but it really does need to come in the second if it's going to happen at all. The reason being: If it comes in the third movie, then you're left with no time to develop a relationship between Mary Jane and Peter. Additionally, it's just not a good idea to end a trilogy on such a down-note.
- Norman Osborn has to be in the second movie. That isn't to say he has to be the Green Goblin in the second movie though. I agree with a lot of people: Save Goblin for the third. Build up to it. TASM hinted at the idea of Norman being responsible for the deaths of Peter's parents - tie that all up with the third movie. It would be that much more satisfying of an ending if Norman is also responsible for Gwen's death.
- The primary villain has to be different than The Lizard. Another mutant won't excite audiences the same way the second time around. A friend of mine really wants to see Mysterio, and as cool as that might be to see on-screen, I'm not sure how they could do it and not draw the obvious comparisons to Batman's Scarecrow. Personally, I think Kraven is probably the best choice, especially if he is bank-rolled by Oscorp to hunt Spider-Man. I suppose that, if Sony is really so bent on the idea of doing a Venom spin-off, Venom could be the enemy of the second - acting independently whilst Norman Osborn poses the real threat in the background, still carrying on Connors' work as a set-up for the third film. Sort of a war on two fronts for Spider-Man.

I don't get what you're saying  You want someone other than the Green Goblin to kill Gwen, or do you want Norman to become the Goblin near the end and still kill Gwen?

I'd expect Norman to still die at the end of ASM2 the way he always did, but I'm open to saving him as a central villain for the third as long as they do it well.

In terms of a logical sequence of villains, I'm for Venom to be a central villain, since his Ultimate counterpart has a background with Peter's parents. Like someone else here said, it'd be cool to finally find out that Richard Parker was working on the symbiote.

With the finding his Uncle's Murder plot still unresolved, I hope they go with a life for a life approach. Let me explain, I've played a game called Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy, where you murder someone at the beginning of the game (you were possessed but that's not important), a Police officer sees you leaving the diner before he finds the victim in the bathroom stall. Later in the game, we witness a kid breaking through the ice and jump after him, get him out of the cold water and start to reanimate the kid.

Now the same Police Officer from the diner, arrived at the scene and recognized our face. And now he didn't know what to do. He knew that we murdered someone, but we also just saved a kids life. But ultimately, he let us walk.

Maybe they could do something similar with Uncle Ben's murderer. Yeah, he carried a gun, but maybe he never meant to kill anyone and after the events with Ben, he's guilt ridden. You could have a similar situation, where someone is in danger, maybe a house fire, and you see a person carrying someone out the building. Spidey arrives to help and later notices the star tattoo on the guy's wrist, as he thanks Spidey for the help. And now Spidey would be in a moral dilemma.

I really wouldn't be opposed to the fact if they make the Killer sympathetic in the sequel, because the death of Ben had as much of an impact on him as it did on Peter. In the Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon, they made Ben's killer the Cat Burglar, who realized what he did was wrong and that it was the worst moment in his life and stayed back in Prison, to make sure the other Prisoners couldn't escape.

At this point, and I may be wrong, but based on what he's saying, it's just as much his call as theirs. He said he wants to do it but has other stuff he wants to do and I think the quick turnaround is what has him hesitant. If he wanted to do another movie in between this flick and the sequel, he won't have any time to let that happen. The sequel will go into production early next year and aside from needing time to unplug, I don't think another flick in between could happen

Well, then I hope Webb chooses to return.

Maybe not in ASM2, but in a future sequel, Peter starts mutating further and then this...

Here's my list...

  • The Return Of Marc Webb

  • [*]More Answers

    [*]Introduction of the Osborns

    [*]Green Goblin... not yet

[*]The Death Of Gwen Stacy... not yet

    [*]Mary Jane

    [*]J. Jonah Jameson

some of these i also want to see, some I dont.Yes I also want to see the introduction of the osborns,JJJ,Robbie,Betty Brant and the daily bugle of course, more answers about his parents, would like to see the spider tracers and the spidey beam developed,Flash Thompson calling pete-puny parker and being a huge fan of spiderman,I dont however want to see Gwen die.Gwen works much better onscreen than Mary Jane does.Hard to believe they will portray her character from the comics properly anyways.they never do.Never did in the movies, never did in the cartoon show.So I would just as soon Mary Jane stay out of the movies and Gwen lives but from the way Stone is talking I dont see that happening.

I don't know why people are against Gwen dying...its her only thing.

At this point I'm just hoping for a sequel at all.

Well, it's not her ONLY thing....but definitely her biggest and most well-known thing. And considering both Webb and Stone have talked about adapting the storyline, it seems pretty inevitable at this point.

what else is she known for other than being Peter's dead girlfriend

Introduction of Eddie Brock as an idealistic photographer who believes in exposing the truth behind corrupt regimes.

Introduction of a Cure for Norman; something the Parkers and Brocks worked on that hints at the symbiote.

Electro as our main villain; Tombstone and Black Tarantula in an action sequence at the movie's opening to establish a turf war between the two.

More from Norman regarding the Parkers and Brocks. A competitor to OsCorp. Could be Miles Warren or Adrian Toomes.

Peter relying on Gwen to help him find a way to defeat Electro.

I think Electro should be a definate and with Mysterio, they could make a good team . Neither of them are sympathetic, and neither of them are father figuares with split personalities

Keep Peter in school.
Don't kill off Gwen yet.
Same director.
New composer.
Peter/Aunt May Relationship
New villain who hasn't been previously portrayed.

Introduction of The Jackal / Professor Warren to hint at the Clone Saga!
