Does DC have a Spider-Man? By this, I mean, is there a DC hero who really reminds you of him? Several Marvel characters have prominent traits in common with Batman

(some would go as far as to call them "imitations"; I wouldn't-well, maybe Thrasher) but is there anybody on the DC side who resembles Marvel's top hero?

the new blue beetle seems like spidey circa 1962

I'd agree with Jaime Reyes and Kyle. And maybe grown up Bart, but intead of being fun with angst, it was all angst.

I love each and everyone one of Chris Wallace's threads, and this is no exception.

You think EVERY thread I start is a worthwhile discussion? That's a first. A lot of posters hit my threads just to criticize them.

There are some DC characters I don't like, but I don't think I have it in me to disrespect them enough to make that comparison...

That wasn't called for. I didn't come on here to insult any character, but to explore parallels.

No it wasn't. That would be like me bashing Batman because some twerp thought it was a good idea to put a blue mask on him. "One More Day" was one more in a series of absurd Quesada missteps (to put it nicely) in handling what is at the core an awesome character. But none of these missteps change who Spider-Man is at the core. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.

One More Day was just an attempt to put the genie back in the bottle. But like many bad moves, they stab you in the eye to take your mind off the pain in your leg.

My reply to Mr. Quesada is as always:

This is Aristotle we're talking about, you give him an excuse to insult any Marvel character and he'll take it. We've manged to drive him off the Marvel boards where he use to call Stan Lee a ****e any time someone mentioned Stan's name. Now that we stopped him from Trolling on the Marvel boards he's gonna use any excuse to insult Marvel fans on the DC board.

I hate that. It's one thing to not like a character or or comic company but is it really necessary to treat other people like crap or make them feel like idiots for what they like?? :whatever:
