I know he's not one that people initially think of due to his style/personality, but I'd bet, based on his amateur wrestling background, that Ziggler would be no pushover if things got physical.

Another guy worth mentioning is Wade Barrett. People might not think he's tough because of his string of injuries but he used to be a bare knuckle fighter...

Kane, Henry, or Show would pop Cena's head, scattering Fruity Pebbles everywhere.

Folks don't wanna hear it, but it's probably John Cena.

I'd not be surprised, at the very least he seems to have quite a high pain tolerance.

Barrett would be my pick as well, maybe Bubba, too.

Jack Swagger, Wade Barrett, Mark Henry, Braun Stroman, and Rusev.

Judging from Cena's background, he's like the Rock or Triple H, a bodybuilder who probably can't fight for **** in real life.

Aside from Lesnar, I'd the the legit fighters in the locker room are Barrett, Swagger and Samoe Joe. Ziggler and Sandow apparently also have some fight training as well.

WWE has removed Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka from the Hall of Fame section of WWE.com. Snuka’s profile has also been removed from the website

I'll never forget the time Vacant jumped off the top of the steel cage at Madison Square Garden.

I'm going to add Roman to my list.

No matter what happens to TNA, I hope EC3 does well wherever he goes and that Tyrus goes with him. They are such a damn good combo and EC3 has gotten to be one of the highlights of Wednesdays.

For those who closely follow AAA, When is the mask vs mask match between Mysterio and Mysteziz?

I'm guessing the Immortal Heroes PPV on October 4th.

I've never thought it about Cena or Rock (maybe bc of their football backgrounds or something), but I've always pictured HHH as the kind of guy who has always gotten by intimidating smaller guys with his size, but would probably just crumble if he got punched.

When his feud with Bryan was going on, there were people who said it wasn't believable because that fight wouldn't be realistic. I agreed, but for a different reason: Bryan was a scrappy 30 year old who has (briefly, at least) trained MMA techniques under Randy Couture, if I am remembering correctly. Triple-H was a 40 year old bodybuilder who has probably never been punched in real life. I'd actually 100% take Daniel Bryan if they got in a shoot fight.

The crazy thing is that most people automatically think bigger = can fight.

Another dude to add to the list is Booker T. That dude was born in the hood so you know he can scrap. He whooped Batista's ass before.

Vacant has had a long and storied career. Vacant's been a multiple time world champion.

i'm not sure where you got the idea that The Rock cant' fight. He played for The U back in the day. There are stories of him fighting guys all the time. One story in particular is about him nearly ripping a guys tongue out of his mouth.

Yeah, Rock played ball. I'm sure he knows how to hurt somebody if he wanted to.

Is Harley the baddest man in wrestling history? I hear even Andre wouldn't **** with him.

I think Meng is the consensus #1. Even the Steiner Bros knew not to screw with Meng.

It depends on how we're defining "baddest". It's doubtful that either Harley or Meng would have lasted long agains the likes of Shamrock, Severn, or Lesnar, at least in their respective primes. Of course, there is another type of dangerous as in the New Jack type.

So I just read an interesting piece of news...

For those who say the Bellas get the push they get because of Cena and Bryan...

That may be true...but it can't hurt that their mother is freakin' engaged to John Laurnaitis.

I don't know if you can truly have a respectable talented womens wrestling divison in WWE when these two are the faces. But I don't think this "revolution" is anything, well, revolutionary.

We have had fired Swastika loving Divas, girlfriend beating Bram and Jimmy Snuka being charged with murder but Johnny Ace joining the Bella army is still the most WTF wrestling thing I heard this week.

I'm just amazed a former wrestler and current WWE official is actually dating a woman close to his own age.

What about Sheamus.
I don't know about Shemaus. On the one hand he is a former choir boy and It technician called Stephen. On the other hand he was a former nightclub bouncer and security bodyguard for Bono.
Is Harley the baddest man in wrestling history?
Meng is by far the most feared wrestler by all accounts.

Arn Anderson said in his biography "There are tough men, there are wrestler-tough men, and then there's Meng."

Eric Bischoff said everyone was too scared of Meng to fire him which is why he was in the WCW for long.
Brock Lesnar aside, who would you guys think is the most legitimate tough guy in WWE today?
I don't know. Everyone on the WWE roster seems like they are SWAFT :cwink:

Samoa Joe might be tough in real life.

There was an episode of Swerved with Konnor with some fake poop diapers. Konnor gave a look in one scene like he would beat you to death if you messed with him.
Folks don't wanna hear it, but it's probably John Cena.
I think Cena could probably withstand an ass kicking but I don't think he would be that good at dishing one out.

I doubt even Cena thinks he is the toughest guy in the WWE locker room.
The crazy thing is that most people automatically think bigger = can fight.

This is so true. Way too many people think any guy who lifts weights in a gym is some fighting machine and that isn't the case.

I've seen guys get floored by men half their size. The size of someone's muscles doesn't mean they can take a punch.

If we're on the subject of WWE tough guys and badasses...

I'd nominate Daniel Bryan for a legitimate tough guy. Not a tough guy in the sense that he's intimidating and he'd take everyone out. He seems like the most calm and laid back dude on the planet. But in the fact that if it were up to him he'd work through anything (which can be foolish).

I remember hearing the story how he got a concussion and Triple H told him that he needed to take time off and get a test and Bryan said that's the first time he got in someone's face and legitimately yelled at them. He said he yelled at Triple H on how he wrestled with a detached cornea and this was nothing. Stupid? Probably...but tough. And he yelled at the golden boy too.

Again, he may not be everyone's view of a "tough guy" but to me he's a real WRESTLER.

CM Punk wrestled through a ton of injuries as well. Especially towards the end. But, I don't know, I love Punk but he's more whiney I guess.
