This Summer sucked for various reasons , but one of the biggest reasons it sucked is because it felt like Winter. The temperature usually goes up to the mid to high 80s , but this year it barely got to the mid 70s. It's been overcast every morning too.

This summer was probably the most boring one I've had yet. I'm out of school and working, so summer isn't as cool to me as it was when I had school. Everything this year for me was pretty bland. blah.

This summer has actually been really good, my girlfriend I made a list of all the things we wanted to do and have been getting most of it done. Going to Great America, getting drunk watching a movie in the park, doing a road trip, hitting a decent number of street fests, ran a few fun races together, going to Lincoln Park Zoo... Really can't complain, feel like we've made the most of our summer and still got a month to month and a half left.

It is pure madness how quickly time has flown since I graduated from high school in May. I havent done anything particularly super special I guesse this summer, but I have enjoyed myself immensely. The movie selection has been a bit sparse, but I guesse thats ok because I need the money I would otherwise spend on movie tickets.

July especially blasted by. After the fourth days just seemed to bleed into eachother as they flew on by. Towards the end of the month it started to dawn on me that I hadn't seen a large number of my friends in over a month due to everyone having their graduation parties within 2 weeks of eachother. I finally organized a giant party, which was fun.

For once, not am I not dreading school, I'm actually immensely excited for it. Much of my summer has been spent figuring out crap for college. On the 18th I'm moving onto campus at St. Louis University, which is only like 20 minutes away from my crappy hometown, but living in the city will be infinitely more interesting than the crappy plastic suburb I live in now.

I love mid fall because its like long sleeve weather, but not coat weather. I have a large number of jackets that I like to wear. It seems like most of my favorite clothes are suited for fall and early spring. oh and FLANNEL!
