George Miller would crush a Thor movie. The only thing is he'd have to adhere to a tighter Marvel schedule. In any case it'd probably be less strenuous for him than Fury Road or Furiosa.

I like both characters but for a Thor 5 and what could very well be Thor’s swan song I very much want the focus to be squarely on Thor’s shoulders. They need to almost reinvent the franchise once again with a much needed course correction.

Also I’m so sick and tired of the female hate discourse online. Just give it a damn rest. Talk about souring cinematic experiences with all that vitriol. I want to have a good time leading up to and during the release of the film as it should be not having to deal with this infinite god damn tug of war…

I hope people at Marvel take some hints from what we’ve seen already and give the fans more of what they want/like. Thor is due the credit he truly deserves as one of the main cornerstones of the MCU and the character deserves a great send off.

I had a fun idea for Thor 5. Everyone is waiting for BRB to be introduced and Stormbreaker is already at play in the MCU, so what if Thor would be the one to put a worthiness enchantment on the axe since it doesn’t have one at the moment. It would connect with how he enchanted Zeus bolt in TLT and be a way to safeguard what is a infinitely powerful weapon that was hijacked by Gorr before, because of the lack of an enchantment.

It would also fit pretty well with the introduction of BRB because it would immediately establish his character similarly to what was done in Age of Ultron with Vision. In this it would be different because BRB would fight against Thor with the axe as opposed to Vision working together with Thor before.

Also it would further give credence to Thor’s All Father status and connect with the very first Thor where it was Odin who put the enchantment on Mjolnir. In this case it would give a lesson to Thor when BRB and him fought, that worthiness can be perceived differently and someone seemingly on the other side of the fence can also be worthy.

It would also serve as a passing of the torch sort of moment.

While I ultimately feel they short changed Jane's story in Love And Thunder, they still told it to completion. She's dead, and in Valhalla.

I would rather the next Thor movie not be another ensemble cast. There was not enough screen time for all the characters in Love And Thunder, and the movie suffered for it. So some hard choices need to be made.

Yeh I think and hope that many of the threads set out at the end of TLT will be adressed/resolved in the 2 upcoming Avenger films, stuff like the “daughter” Love, Hercules, Korg… So that whoever takes up Thor 5 can make it more of its own thing and not cater to someone else’s vision. Thor 5, we know, will have a very different vibe/tone than before and that’s also why I think everything will be ironed out on those Avengers films before a T5 can be announced. It’s for the best as well.

I think the Valhalla/Jane and Mighty Thor stuff will probably be addressed heading into Secret Wars probably giving the character some sort of redemption and wrapping that completely while wiping the slate clean for Thor 5.
