lol, i'm obviously going to see this day 1, but the trailer itself was a bit underwhelming to me. felt like whoever made it did a bit of a rush job. i dunno, please don't hate me! lol.

I didn't think it was a rush job at all. There's not really much in the teaser to chew from (which isn't a bad thing at all), but what I think the teaser does a good job at is presenting the tone for the sequel, which looks much darker. Not much in money shots or OMG moments, but they went more for emotion and feeling in the teaser.

In short, this teaser was exactly that, a teaser.

Teaser conveys the tone and emotion while the full trailer will show the plot and OMG moments to put the butts in the seats.

It isn't, but something tells me Thor is going to be put through a similar hell Tony's going through.

If Thor TDW is going for the feel I'm expecting it to be, I'll definitely be enjoying phase 2 and I think it'll be amazing.

I'd put this trailer at about the same level as the first IM3 trailer but that's just me.

All in all I loved it, I'd give it about an 8.5 out of 10!

Yay, I love that Loki is back. Plus I'm glad that Sif seems to have a bigger role in this movie. At least I hope.

This is a terrific trailer. It is right on par with the IM3 trailers and substantially better than any other trailer released thus far this year, IMO. Whoever Marvel has creating its trailers is definitely worth every penny they're being paid and then some.

Maybe it's Algrim The Strong before he turns into Kurse, just a thought.

Not a bad trailer, it shows the movie has great promise, but it was certainly underwhelming. However, it certainly looks that Thor will be able to unleash himself in this movie.

Supposedly the twist is that the Prime Meridian is actually where two worlds exist on the same plane, separated by some sort of dimensional rift.

so i guess a specific example of the trailer feeling poorly edited / rushed to me is the part where jane asks

"what's going to happen?"

next line / shot is thor saying "alone"

that isn't an anwer haha. it's not a knock against the film itself, just the editing. usually the dialogue flows better in trailers.

contrast this to the exact opposite at the end of the trailer when loki says "when do we start"

then the next shot is NOVEMBER 2013.

it answers loki's question in a clever way.

hope i'm making sense.
