I picked up the 8" Thor from Toys Backwards-R Us the other day. Do you want pics?

It's similar in quality (IMO) to the 10" version. I agree with whoever remarked that its likeness to Hemsworth is actually a little better than the Marvel Select 7". Has very little articulation, though. Although, I really want to repaint certain features on both of them, and see if that improves anything.

The figure I really want to know about is the Marvel Legends 6". Has anyone heard anything further about when those are going to be released? (The Thor one is what Hemsworth was photographed holding up at the ToyFair back in Feb 2011.)

Pics would be Cool Sgaana! I see it looks alot like the 10" in many ways, was the Destroyer there too.?
I haven't heard anything on the 6" figures. I have a feeling we won't see them for a couple months, unless we see something at SDCC.

    Okay, let's try this again...

No, I didn't see any of the 8" Destroyer figure. The display of the 8" Thor figures was mostly gone, too, so I guess there'd been a run on them already.

I hope we *do* get an update on the 6" figures at SDCC. I don't get what's up with displaying them at ToyFair back in February and then nothing about them for months and months. :cmad:

Okay, here's some attempt at comparison pics. I don't have the 10" Thor, so couldn't include that.

    Hasbro 8" Thor:

Next to the Marvel Select 7" Thor:

The only articulation on the 8" version is neck, shoulders, and hips, and the latter two aren't ball-joints.

    Head sculpt comparison:

Now the debate begins...open and display, or try and display still in package? I need moral guidance!

Well if you open it you can display him easier. lol but without Loki you don't have the complete BiFrost. I'm still deciding how to display my Thor and Loki Selects.
I have this Glass paneled light cover I might use.

I have Battle Hammer Thor from the movie line. The sword/hammer thing he comes with is stupid, but the figure itself, and Mjolner are awesome. He's definitely my favourite 3.75 inch figure so far.:thor:

Where has there been any mention of a 6" line? I know they have 6" Captain America and Nick Fury coming, so it makes my heart sink a little that Thor doesn't have a 6" incarnation.

I just really want Thor and Loki for a 6" line, and a Red Skull for the Captain America line.

Yea, really. :csad: And thanks. :woot:

    Here: http://marvelousnews.com/index.php?itemid=13864

Back in February, at ToyFair 2011, both Hemsworth and Evans were photographed with 6" figures -- Hems holding up the Thor one, and Evans standing next to a table with a helmet-less version of 6" Cap.

    Images at the link above.

Yeah, I've seen the announcements about the 6" Cap and Nick Fury figures... although, no helmet-less Cap yet. The helmet-less Tony Stark was eventually a WalMart exclusive figure, so I wonder if that will hold true for Cap?

Still, it's beyond puzzling that there's just no news on the 6" Thor line... (if it's a "line" at all, and not just the Thor figure).

As Vartha says, I'm crossing my fingers for SDCC...
