Thought on Harley Quinn

So the other day, the drummer for my band (who doesn't even read comics) comes to me with a few lyric ideas and says he wants us to do a kinda dark, funky/sexy rock song marginally based on Harley (i think he fell in love with her after seeing the video for the new game). He handed me some ideas he had for lyrics (not much), and seeing that there was some promise there, I said "lets go for it", if only cuz who rights rock songs about comic book characters? . Now, being the guitarist/singer and main writer for the band, I just gotta write the damn thing.

I don't know a whole lot about the character (i know her very basic origin). So, if any one is so inclined, I'd appreciate a crash course in her history/personality/interesting trivia as well as your all's impressions of her as a character.

Iced Earth. They wrote an entire album "The Dark Saga" which is about Spawn.

i'd do the song, from harley's point of view, as a slow love ballad singing a song to your "puddin'". have the lyrics composed of cracked out confessions of what you'd do for their love.

yeah, i looked there, but nothing really jumped out. its good for the technical aspects of her, but i'm interested in what people think of her; what people like/don't like about her...but thanks for the link, regardless.
