I actually thought it was a little different, than most villain looks, after all super villains and heroes need to have the perfect shoulder and neck thing going. I can't even think about any villains with hunches, so the originality works for me.

Why so many villains? In my opinion two is too many. We don't need six. When it comes to ANY comic book film, hardcore fans just want more, more, more of everything with no regards to what works in films that are not based on comic books.

Multiple villains works in the comics because most villains that receive the team-up treatment have decades of history built up. Comic readers are aware of the threat they pose alone, so it's easy for comic readers to comprehend the threat that their collaboration would pose.

In a film, it simply makes the villain look inept and weak. They spend 20-25 (nonconsecutive) minutes to establish who they are, have a few intense fight scenes and establish their M.O. and backstory and suddenly they're teaming up with some other villain who is getting the short end of the stick regardless. This almost worked in Spider-Man 3. It kinda worked in Batman Returns. And it certainly worked in Batman Begins/TDK. But Batman Forever, B&R, Superman II (Lex teaming with the Kryptonians, not the Kryptonians together) all showed some very powerful villains teaming up for no apparent reason.
It's a lazy shortcut in writing to consolidate the antagonists.

Keep it to one. But if it must be two, I vote for two films back-to-back. And the two villains should be the one with the established presence--Lizard--and the one who has a comic book history with said villain--Kraven.

Scorpion would be cool. And in the past I've always wanted to see Spidey dispatch a second-tier baddie just for kicks in the first two minutes. But that's a huge waste of time IMO.
I just hope they contain themselves and not pack this film with useless characters and storylines like SM3.

The Web of Shadow's Vulture is by far, my favourite interpretation of him;



He looks amazing, can throw a punch, shoot his wings, and looks like he can pose a more threatening edge to the Web-Head.

If they used this version, I would not be disappointed.

I'm really hoping to see Mysterio at some point. Lose the fishbowl, of course...but I think he could make for a really good villain with a lot of visual appeal. Though I'm not exactly sure of how big of a threat he could be portrayed as.

Maybe Spider-Man 4, after the over-the-top plot of SM3, could use a more grounded plot. We never really see crime fighter Spidey, just super-villain fighting Spider-Man. Kingpin's rights are owned by Fox...I'm not sure Sony could buy them, but maybe Silvermane and Tombstone could make an interesting villain combo?

Tombstone could be like he is in SSM. He could make Rhino and Shocker to battle Spider-Man for the same purposes he does that in the cartoon.

Whoever they go with I'd like the villian in the last film to be a departure from the villian with a heart of gold underneath thing. Obviously that has been and always will be the case with the Lizard, as Conners is a friend of Peter's, so I'm hoping we see him in film #4. In the last film I'd like to see Spidey fight a villian who is portrayed as a much darker and deadlier villian than we've seen in the films thus far.

I know coming back from the dead is a stretch so I doubt any of you will agree with this, but I personally would like to see Norman Osborn rise from the grave in ultimate Goblin form, flying around New york, hurling fireballs mercilessly, leaving a path of death and destruction behind and looking scary as hell while doing it. Obviously I'd like more depth to the story than just that, but that's the type of horrific, manacing threat I'd like to see Spidey overcome in the final battle of his first film saga.

Mat yu are such a badly joker. Not use the fishbowl helmet..yeah right, without that Mysterio would be Erio Myst. he can try to drive Spidey..i mean man Spider nuts with his visual and mental trics. But i Know that don't mean anything to a fool like you who still likes ORGANIC webbing.

That Wolverine issue where he basically cons Wolverine into murdering the entire X-Team....though they obviously overpowered his ass in that story.

Yeah, I suppose he could be threatening if the write script is present. He also nearly drove Dare Devil insnae, correct?

I suppose the ideal plot for Mysterio would involve him framing Spider-Man and really turning the public against him (an action scene with Spider-Man being chased by police helicopters could be great and really display his webslinging through New York, something that has been neglected throughout the series). But I think he'd need another villain. Perhaps Scorpion? He could be made as the anti-Spider-Man when it appears Spider-Man is evil, but of course, he would go crazy. I could envision a climax of Spider-Man fighting the Scorpion in the midst of several holographic illusions that Mysterio throws at them. Could be quite exciting.

Instead of making SM4 and SM5 back to back,they should do alot of reshoots for SM3 while making SM4.

-In the beginning of the movie show Flint Marko as a thug robbing a bank and have spidey showing up to save the day.Marko is arrested and is sent to prison for life since that was his third strike.

-Give Eddie Brock lots of character development.

-Cut Gwen out.

-Have John Jameson on the moon where we see the symbiote oozing from a moon rock and attaches itself to Jameson as he is making his way back onto the shuttle to head back home.

-Show the symbiote attacking the astronauts causing the shuttle to go crashing down to Earth.

-Show spidey showing up and ends up saving the astronauts from crashing.

-Show the symbiote attach itself to spidey before he leaves the scene.

-Have Harry in a Goblin costume (Hobgoblin) attack Peter where the symbiote covers Peter making him become the black spider-man.Where we see both of them are trying to kill each other.

-After Harry gets paralized from the neck down from their fight,Harry goes to the prison to talk to Flint Marko,spidey's latest thug that has ended up there.Harry offers Marko power and freedom,but the cost of it is to kill spider-man.

-Sandman finds spidey by commiting a crime.Armor truck scene,just make it black spidey and make the fight longer (because this would be Sandman's only fight) and have it end in a construction site where the armor truck crashes into.Have black spidey pour cement on Sandman at the end of the fight killing Sandman.

-Have black spidey deciding to pay his old friend Harry a visit to end things once and for all.

-Have Harry slowly healing throughout the movie.

-Have Harry be all healed up in the Goblin's lair when an alarm goes off.Harry looks on the monitor and sees that black spidey is in his house.Harry suits up in gis Goblin gear and goes out to face black spidey.

-The fight ends when black spidey throws a pumpkin bomb into Harry's face.

-Peter goes to a nearby church to take the symbiote off.

-Last scene is of Eddie Brock becoming Venom...

SM4: Would be Peter trying to redeem himself while fighting off Venom....
