He's been posting in the political forums where few of his opinion hang out. I am surprised he got banned, he wasn't the only one being snarky or mean. He really isn't a mean guy from what I know of him elsewhere.

Yeah, he had some questionable stances both in the Politics and Comics threads, but always seemed to conduct himself civilly. There were far worse folks in the Comics threads, for example, that are still around. (Though that poster's habit of popping in to post instigating comments and then disappear probably helps him fly under the radar)

Which is also probably why he got banned. He was instigating. He would pop in, say something to rile people up, and then disappear as soon as someone refuted him. Then he would pop in again a few days later, and post the exact same thing to start the cycle all over. I don't know how many times I've seen him deny that Trump has said anything sexist or racist, despite a mountain of evidence being dumped on him each time he did. He was a troll, and nothing more.

Kong and G both have a lot in common. Both had uneasy relationships with their fathers. Both attended an elite preparatory academy as youths. Both converted from the faith of their families (Godzilla went from Shinto to Buddhist, Kong was raised Episcopal but then became an Evangelical). And of course, both married white women.
