The NBA is amazing, and I wish I followed it more closely. Why does the NHL have to be full of a bunch of boring jackasses? It's because they're mostly Canadian, isn't it?

They are quite good. Captained by Steven Stamkos, who played junior hockey in my hometown. In his final game, they gave him a suit to wear at the NHL draft. I always thought that was weird. Canada!

As a New Yorker I can't complain too much about this winter. It's been SCARILY mild for the most part. There were deep freeze days but just yesterday is was over 50 degrees. It's the end of January. Before we know it March will be here.
