WormyT, you are awesome! I was checking the news, and found the thundercats trailer embedded in /film. You are getting better and better, and you used to be very good to begin with (I remember the spider-man 3 trailers, and the venom removed from AICN at sony's request)
Hell yeah,Yeah Rick Baker would do some good T'Cats make up effects, I thought that since he did Hellboy.
Another childhood cartoon that will be raped into live action to bomb in theatres. However, WormyT still makes some of the best fanmade trailers I have ever seen!
They gotta go live action. There hasn't really been a very successful CG movie with realistic humans besides Polar Express. The rumored ThunderCats movie is supposed to be cgi last i read.
You know I did start work on a JLA trailer last year but only got 2% into it. I did have an interesting Wonderwoman for that. Maybe I'll get back to it if WB decide not to make theirs.
I have about 2-3 more trailers (don't ask what )to get through before that.

While I appreciate your effort Wormy, I found that to be your most lacking fan trailer, though I did lmao at Garfield as Snarf. And were Wiley Kit/Kat the Spy Kids?
G4tv mentioned your trailer-http://www.g4tv.com/thefeed/blog/post/691973/ThunderCats_Trailer_Is_OnlineSort_Of.html#comments
WormyT...
... that was amazing. I'm so thoroughly impressed right now. I'm not impressed by too many things I see on youtube/tv/theaters these days. I've grown jaded when it comes to things I've treasured as a child and watched it turn to Hollywood crap by studios just trying to turn a buck (Transformers mainly)... so I just want to let you know that you've not only captured the spirit of Thundercats but you've managed to flesh it out in that short trailer.
Respect.
Epic F'ing lulz at the trailer.
Sorry, your computer skills are good(or at least they are to me since I don't have whatever programs you have)but that was cheeseball.
The real film could be an epic fail for two reasons.
1. They don't follow the cartoon and it just becomes Thundercats in name only.
2. They follow the cartoon too closely and we get something like that trailer.
Although, yes, there is an actual Thundercats movie that's supposedly in the works (though it would be all CGI...darnit), this trailer is just a brilliant, hysterical, horrifying, and sublime mash up of tons of other movies, with some clever Photoshopping to boot. I caught clips from Troy, Stargate, The Chronicles of Riddick and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Hehehe, cool. There doesn't seem to be any news on this besides God Of War concept artist Charlie Wen who's now working on it. Nothing in IMDB.
Is it still CG?
While we wait for more info, here's a fan trailer for a live action version I found staring Brad Pitt and Vin Diesel.
