Tim Burton's Batman 3 (2015)

I didn't like Bale's Batman voice.

totally. that "swear to me!" made me laugh too, i couldnt help it. the more serious you try to be, especially when sounding like THAT, i dunno that to me was like i would imagine SNL doing a batman skit like that with that voice lol. keaton didnt sound over the top, but he changed his voice just enough that you can tell it was not bruce wayne talking. kevin conroy and val kilmer did the same thing. but bale......yeah that animalisitic thing, he may have gone too far with that. that, coupled with the craptastic goyer-logue, not good.

as for west, i dont think you can ever successfully bash Wests batman.

West's Batman is hands down the best Batman. People can argue, but he was.

Moving swiftly on, Bale was good, but it was just... Too much sometimes. I prefer the Keaton or Kilmer voice much more. Actually, I don't remember Kilmer talking that much, I guess because in the main scenes of Batman, Two-Face and Riddler already knew he was Bruce.

Dude the dialogue in Begins is way better than alot from the Burton films.

You dont remember "Its the car right, chicks like the car" lol

I dont like Bales'' batman'' voice, it was too raspy IMO and seemed really forced

No, Jeremy Sisto was the voice of Batman in JLA: The New Frontier, the animated film.
If you're talking about the JL live action movie, then I can't really judge the actor, since I haven't seen him as Batman yet.

I can judge him, hes younger than I am and hes playing Batman? That kid looks like a yuppie college boy whose mommy and daddy bought a BMW for him for going to law school. I totally despise anyone who would take on a role thats done so well by another actor, in the same time period, different version or not.

Parts of it did but for the most part I thought it was so damn badass.

Well, sure, but I'm a very optimistic person when it comes to movies. I'm giving him a chance to surprise me.... if the rumors are true. However, I don't have any intention of seeing JL in the theater, so I couldn't care less at this point.

your kidding right? Returns alone had some of the best script writing of any batman, no, superhero film. it was not cliche comic book stuff. in fact, BR is the only batman film that feels more like a FILM, not a comic book movie. i know that it was extremly dark at times, but daniel waters beats goyer and hamm in the dust. the line "mistletoe can be deadly if you eat it" is probably the best out of the 5 films, right next to "ever dance with the devil". everyone admits the dialogue was one of Begins weaknesses. seriously, "its what i DOOOO that defines me" "im batman!.....nice coat" "excuse me" "i like to rattle the cages", UGH cornball city!

Dude Daniel Waters is a friggin tool, watching the extras for BR I was like, who the frick does this guy think he is, Hamm's ideas are much more grounded. Listen I never said there wasnt good dialogue but there is alot of cheesy stuff in BR especially. The mistletoe line good, but also very cheesy, Most of the penguins lines were very over the top.

I haven't heard his voice-over yet.

He didn't talk that much, but when he did, it was great.

I hope you're joking.

Was that BF? I thought that was B&R

It's possible to be cheesy and over the top without it seeming ridiculous.
I wont disagree with you on your last comment, and no that line was from BF not B&R. I like 89 and Begins equally so I cant compare dialogue to those but BR, as much as I like it, I dont think it was written that great. I think it is a good film, but I just dont like Daniel Waters' writing, simple as that. I see in Begins where Goyer was attempting to give lines that were memorable, and regardless if you like them or not, pretty much everyone on here remembers them, so he got what he was going for.

I disagree.

Dude your going to, you and Googleme should start a Burton lovers club. I love 89 and Returns alot, I grew up on them and I like them equally to Begins ( if you saw my collection you would know), so I dont care to hear any of that Nolanite/Burtonite crap. I posted earlier on I just dont like Daniel Waters' writing, thats all, I like Hamm's quite a bit more.

No need to place me in the same category as GoogleMe, my friend.

You were the one who mentioned any Nolan/Burton comparisons far before I did. And unlike you, I mentioned no comparisons at all. Just that I disagree, don't get your flute so fluttered.

And I simply stated, I disagree. That's all, it was you who just began a rant that went nowhere.

Dude I dont have a flute, and I dont get fluttered either. Also if you disagree atleast give reasons why, not a one line post to disagree with me.

I'm confused, I go away for like 7 hours and this topic has suddenly turned into another Burton V Nolan debate.

IMO, Bale had an interesting voice but it was too forced at times, Keaton had a good one but like Kilmer rarely used it.

Back to topic...

I onder what actors Burton would use *today* if he was given the 3rd Batman film.

Hmmmmm lets see, Johnny Depp as The Riddler and Helena Bonham Carter as Poison Ivy!?:woot:

If Johnny Depp comes anywhere near any Batman movie in my lifetime, I'll never watch anything Batman related ever again.

Do you recognize when a joke is being made? Seriously, I'm more than smart enough to realize a hypothetical statement.

Let me guess, your jokes are funny, huh noob? Whatever helps you sleep at night, bud.
