Yeah Eva Green completely stole that trailer... even from good old Johnny who is rarely ever upstaged.
Eva doesn't like doing American projects, usually, because she wants to stay in Europe. That's why she took Camelot. Hopefully, this will give her a boost.
No, what's terrible is that you actually think it looks like a comedy.Wasn't it that complaining the trailer for Dark Shadows look like a comedy is akin to complaining about a trailer for a supposed Power Rangers movie being too campy?
That is, IMO, a terrible analogy.
I understand though she kinda fell out of public's eye. Even with her more recents indie films, she hasn't got too much buzz ala The Dreamers.

I think this will be a great year for Tim Burton. Both Dark Shadows and Frankenweenie look really amazing.
No, it's quite obvious to me that they shoe-horned the footage into a comedy-themed trailer. The music didn't fit the footage at all, and most of the humor looks like it could be quite good when well-placed within a darker film - which is what it looks to be.I hope it's not. I hope it's as misleading as the Sweeney Todd trailer was. However, how does it not look like a comedy in the trailer?
What with light period-specific music, including disco, that makes it all seem silly and light-hearted?
With half the dialogue being set-up and punchlines ("Are you stoned?"/"No, but they did try to stone me once. It didn't work."/"Out tiny songstress!"/"That was a regrettable turn of events.")?
With the editing focusing on things like Barnabas brushing her teeth, Angelique dancing, HBC nodding along to disco, etc. Even the title is introduced on the pop track. It may be like Sleepy Hollow yet. But you couldn't tell that from this trailer.
Mars Attacks was one of Burton's best films. Not sure why a comparison to it would be bad.
Is there another link as I do not use Quicktime?
