Tim Burton's Frankenweenie

Sounds good... This movie is shaping up to be a lot of fun.

Looks like someone nabbed the trailer early:

Looks good!

:awesome::up:

But how in God's name could a trailer for this be released before one for Dark Shadows?! :cmad:

Burton could do great with expanding the short film into a feature film and after seeing the trailer I'm real optimistic that this could be something special from him. I'm still haven't got over my love that it's actually B&W stop-motion.

Black and White. Stop-motion. Tim Burton.

That was all I needed to know anyway... but the trailer is awesome and very much pure-Burton. :hrt:

Nice to hear Catherine O' Hara's voice and very much in the spirit of Vincent (which is good any way you look at it)

Looks fantastic! I laughed so hard when Sparky's tail fell off. I cannot wait to see this.

Well, I must say: This looks pretty damn cute. Tim Burton is finally back in the Stop-Motion Business and as his project he has something which was a long-time wish of him. The trailer already gives me those classic morbid Tim Burton chills, Frankenweenie looks overly cute and as the cherry on top the Tim Burton sundae: The film really is going to be in black and white.
In 3D and Black/White - Well, that sure is something new right there. Maybe Tim Burton has found his inner magic again. We can only hope. Until now this looks great :D

Looks terrific. Interested to see what they expand from the short-film to the feature film.

I'm looking forward to both Frankenweenie and ParaNorman, but Frankenweenie seems to have more heart to it. Plus, it feels more relatable. Sure, I bet a lot of people can relate to being an outsider like Norman, but Frankenweenie is more specific in its relatability. Every pet owner wishes they could bring their four-legged friend back. In any case, as a huge Burton fan my butt was in the seat to see this the moment I heard about it. Same with Dark Shadows.

Looks funny and I enjoy Burton's work, I might see this.

I'm on the fence about this. Looks good. But it also seems like it'll be yet another sad dog movie.

The short, on the whole, is quite sweet and happy. At least once Sparky comes back.

I can't imagine a lot of kids wanting to see this movie, the lack of color might be a problem. We went to go see the Lorax today and the trailer came up before it, didn't excite my niece at all but she liked the ParaNorman trailer... which I didn't expect.

These brats and their sensory overload.

If that's the case... but part of me is afraid the theme of the movie is going to be learning to let go.

Yet another remake of Frankenstein!!! :cmad::cmad::cmad:

:cwink:

I love it! I'm a little intrigued by the little monsters sprinkled about the poster... I wonder what they're purpose is going to be.
