I've never read that although I have seen where she is becoming more active behind the camera by directing or producing movies, none ever said she would not act in any more.

That may or may not mean anything. Actors plan to "retire" from acting all the time to focus on being behind the camera only to show up starring in a movie a year or two later. Whether she really has retired from acting is still debatable.

I think the only times an actor has said "I'm done acting and I mean it" then gone through with not acting anymore are Sean Connery and Rick Moranis. There are plenty more who say it then continue to act in front of a camera.

Retiring implies no longer doing something. If she comes back to acting, it's more of a break or extended vacation.

Well on time was because of his gambling, but they called it baseball related. The other, he just couldn't live with himself. Which is usually the thing here. People who retire and return start to miss it or need the money. I am not sure either of those apply to Jolie, but I do hope she acts again. She isn't much of a director anyways.

I thought this was a polarizing film for even the biggest Disneyphiles and it's getting a sequel?!? Do they really think it will make as much bank as the first one cause now we know what we're getting rape allegories and all.

Jolie says it's going to be a "really strong sequel." I don't consider her somebody that really takes ****** roles so that gives me a little more confidence. Maybe she's writing some of it.
