Well, I like it, but it spoils. It man not give away plot points, it does hinder one's first viewing of the film. Imagine watching that iconic scene, hearing the thug shriek, "What are you!?!?" then Michael Keaton growl, "I'm Batman!" for the first time, and thinking, "Oh, so THAT'S what the guy's sig meant. Totally takes you out of the moment.
