Eh, there's really nobody around who'd be willing to do such a thing, my neighbors are either old or jerks, and my friends all live at least fifteen minutes away. not a problem i'm sure a friend would stop by to help out. and it wouldn't be just the zoom, you'd have to pan and tilt (preferably from a tri-pod) to get it, but you could do it

Ah yes, I think the idea of bringing the "Black Freighter" story straight to DVD is a great move. I mean there is just so much in that movie, that it just doesn't seem important enough to the narative to fit it in.

Ah yes, I think the idea of bringing the "Black Freighter" story straight to DVD is a great move. I mean there is just so much in that movie, that it just doesn't seem important enough to the narative to fit it in.

they're doing that??? is it going to be live action or a cartoon? if it's live action, you think they's recut it for the dvd release of the film and include it?

Your right on that of course and there's nothing saying it won't be mentioned in the film. The fact that this flick is so detail oriented, I'd say it's a prudent move considering the layering of all the principle characters.

But I liked it before then, and she knew it - part of the reason it's on there.

Rorschach pwns, 'tis true. I do like Dan, though. Now that I've finished it I understand more of what you meant. I respect Rorschach's convictions and his dedication to what he feels is right. Whereas Dan and Laurie and even Jon all agreed with each other about what was best for humanity given their inability to change the situation anyway.

It's an interesting moral dilemma - which is one of the things that makes that story so great.
