Tim Sale's Work

I think BATMAN: HAUNTED KNIGHT is very good!

THESE STORIES SHOULD BE UP THERE W/ DKR & the long halloween & the killing joke!

IT IS SO UNFORTUNATE THAT THEY ARE SO UNDERRATED!

daredevil yellow (or as i like to call it Daredevil: Year One) is a great story...

I have a soft spot for Daredevil (my opinion of the best Stan Lee creation EVER)

I liked Superman: FOR ALL SEASONS

i thought it was a genuine Superman story that, even though it dealt with Smallville, Kansas, it didn't have too much of the TV show mentality

It's not Batman, but I just picked up Superman for All Seasons. Looks great, though I can't speak for the story yet.

one of the best superman stories ive read in a very long time. sale's artwork fits superman even better than bats imo.

btw did you guys know tim sale is colorblind? all his work is in black and white.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of Spider-Man: Blue.

great little book. i cried like a baby:cwink:

I got all the color books, there's also a Captain America book coming up!

I don't like his Joker either, or his Riddler. However, he draws fantastic versions of the Mad Hatter, the Scarecrow, Poison Ivy, Mr Freeze and Two-Face, and my favourite ever rendition of Catwoman. His Spider-Man is also wonderful, very John Romita Sr.

His Spiderman work was awesome! Probably the only book I cared for of his outside of his Batman stuff. Hulk and superman were just ok, nothing great.

I ordered Long Halloween couple days ago and it will be first time I see his work on Batman. I've always liked his detailed work on backgrounds.

If I ever met Tim Sale, I'd love to get a commission from him with Batman and Spider-Man together.

I don't think that Tim Sale is a bad artist all at but I hate his renditions of Batman. One of the worst ever IMO...

it's all kinda the same... his art... i mean when i bought daredevil: yellow, i remember thinking....

wow, murdock looks strangely like bruce wayne from TLH in some panels

gotta give him this at least; he dears to create his own style as opposed to copying others!

oh yeah, i mean i appreciate his style... but it's all just very similar, while still being unique.

Anyone got that picture of Joker from When in Rome where he's shooting the Tommy Gun? Best Sale Joker right there.
