Fear, marriage and sex haunt an alien and a boy in France

Oookay...

Oh my god, I would love to see some of these movies.

A psychotic schoolgirl and a 16-year-old struggle with virginity, death and racism.

See with some adjustments this thing could make for an entertaining source of 48 hour film festival prompts.

This is absolutely brilliant!

I'm doing it a few times

Premarital sex, compassion and poverty confront an on-the-run
Fugitive reporter in the 1960s desert

A producer in 1950s Italy works through class differences, suspense and police brutality

A gay thief in Washington, D.C. confronts poverty, homosexuality
Midnight Express
and genocide

Some of these could make for excellent movies. Some of these could also make for excellent how not to make movies.

Some of these really do sound like realistic Oscar bait...

An eccentric drifter and a widow confront fame, compassion and fear.

A teenage boy struggles with virginity, love and family relationships in New York City.

Army life, racism and hope confront a captain, a soldier and a police officer.

This has Academy Award written all over it!!! :woot:

Domestic violence, violence and terminal illness confront an American Indian prisoner of war in World War II era Italy

An American Indian pow in WWII Italy? Jesus!

A mute CIA agent, a CIA agent and a pope in 1970s Istanbul cope with gambling

Photography, mathematics and rivalry plague an African-American farmer and a missionary in 1920s California
(I really like the idea of being plagued by photography & maths)

In Illinois, a gay psychopath, a taxi driver and a prisoner cope with honor, fraternal love and family relationships

A workaholic government agent, a scientist and an alien cope with jealousy, adultery and nostalgia

In pre-World War II era suburbia, a gay judge, an American male prostitute and a baby work through race relations, virginity and adultery

In the 1980s desert, torture, cruelty and compassion mix for an evil mechanic and a psychopath

In 1930s France, a musician struggles with abortion, irony and tragedy

Nostalgia, cancer and war violence collide in New York City for a bipolar preacher and a Buddhist housekeeper

:funny:

A stuttering liar, a pregnant widow and a single mother in a small town cope with photography, anger and compassion

Sounds like a winner to me
