I'm sorry but the S shield not being on the cape doesn't bother me at all and it wouldn't have bothered me if it was. I don't understand how anybody can get up in arms about such a pointless one way or the other detail.

I dont see a curl at all. Looks more like a shadow or optical trickery due to the distance and the camera-quality.
Why then leave it out of the first promo-shot then?

The suit definitely looks padded. Look at those shoulders. It looks even more bulgy than the shoulders on the SR-suit.

Looks like there wont be red trunks though, which saddens me that they felt they had to "ditch" some of the character's look. I'm sure they could've made it work and look awesome.
I think there are trunks, but that they're blue.

Oh well, maybe that'll get us another offcial shot soon.

Exactly, padded indeed. Them shoulders are much to perfectly muscle'd-up.


He has some poofy hair for Sups, it doesn't bother me, just sayin. My guess is this is when he just transforms into Sups, early years.

Remember, they're going for a more modern and "realistic" approach. I know, it sounds a bit dumb given the circumstances, but I believe the curl will be gone with the trunks.

So hard to tell, there def is something coloring/infront of his forhead. If I was a betting man, I'd go with a curl, it certainly looks like one.

It may not be an S curl, but i think it's a curl of some sort. It's not realistic to have a curl? Lol....and this is superman were talkin bout....there's nothing realistic when it comes to superman himself

No, it's not that I think. No "ghost"-images. It's more when you have 2 edges that merge together, but again I dont know how to explain it.

Nope, that's not it. This deals with optical phenomenons, like a mirage and not what you think you see.

Im pretty sure Routh's shoulders were padded, but were his biceps?

i was waiting for an exterior pic to see if i was right. i was right. the blue is very dark. very very dark. i am of course nitpicking like a fanboy. but i think a brighter blue would work better.

i am happy that he has a muscle suit. ohhhh whait a second. is anyone here who thinks that this is fabric over her body? he has a muscle suit. and thank god. because the arms look huge and amazing.

i also think that WB is doing a fantastic job at teasing the suit. they are hidding the suit from the front . but when he walks up they dont hide him so that everyone can take pictures of the cape. that way they build mistery.

the whole body was padded in SR. the same with spiderman,fantastic four,captain american(avengers). some parts are more thick and some are thin. for example the shoulders are more thick then the biceps and torso.
