i'll try to post this again b4 it gets deleted again ...i saw that pic ether said he took on another website before i saw it here ...maybe its his website i dunno but i'm not naming it because i keep getting the post deleted for it

And why is everyone acting like this is the most annoying thing in the world and we shouldn't be talking about this? There is literally nothing else to discuss here right now, so who cares? It's okay that a page or two of this thread has been devoted to this stupid picture fiasco. Let's just remember who started the whole thing.

Boredom never justifies lunacy. :oldrazz:

Option 1: Post 1 pic with the intention of posting the other pics cause you are busy

Option 2. Post all the pics you have cause really, it doesn't take that much longer.

Option 3. Post 1 pic. Have people complain, and rather than quiet all the naysayers, you argue with them instead of just posting the remaining pics.

I now too have wasted another 2 minutes of my life here.

Did WB release that photo? I'm seeing it pop up everywhere now

I don't think they have. I think it'll show up on some legit promo art. But of course that doesn't stop people from posting it online.

True...I hear that the background was fake but the image of Henry is new/real. Just a little rumor going on...

It's funny how the best photos so far of Superman (IMO) are the leaked photo which WB hunted down everywhere and the art on the toy packaging. This close out I was kind of hoping for something a liiiiitle bit better. :) Don't know why they just didn't release those two photos yet. It's not like it's a spoiler or anything. Thankfully February is a short month. Hopefully WB release a few goodies in March.

The leaked photo wasn't far the best shot of Superman so far. WBs were dumb tonitjust release that in the first place. Bloody idiots.

What art on the toy packaging?

Well maybe companies paid to use the image commercially.

Bloody hell the mistakes I make on this iPad keyboard.i meant to say its the best image so far and I'm shocked they haven't released it officially.

Oh yeah that's a good point

Is it me, or had WB always released terrible promotional photos and posters for their films? Remember the first picture they released of Catwoman? It caused a panic in Superherohype.

Just to give you a comparison, this is a "For Your Consideration" poster for the film's Oscar push...

Tell me that is not more immediately intriguing and evocative than anything they released for the film's actual marketing push?

The film made over a billion dollars, but I bet they would've made at least 100 million more if they had a marketing campaign that wasn't so flat.

I don't know about calling it terrible, but it's definitely unconventional

I think this is why I find the 'handcuffed' poster so intriguing. It's a brave decision. They could have just released a photo of Supes hands on hips, looking all majestic.

I'd love a little bit more unconventional marketing. Bring it on.

Is WB responsible for choosing which promotional photos and posters get released? Or is that someone else's job?

Is it terrible if it's effective? I think a most people lean optimistically curious about the movie, and in my social circle everyone knows about it.

It can be aesthetically terrible and still get the job done. Personally, I think the posters have been okay so far.

Comic-con poster is awesome. Handcuff poster is awful. Simple as that to me! :)

Why do you think it's awful? I'm not ragging on your opinion by the way, just curious as to why you think so. :yay:

I think the execution could have been a little better, but I still like it.
