If Cavill was two inches taller, slightly less buff, he'd be perfect. Still pretty incredible looking.

Don't get me wrong, I think Cavill looks terrific. But it is a balancing act with the muscle and height.

He looks slightly, slightly stumpy in the suit for me. It is all about how you like your Superman, and I have always liked him with a bit buff swimmer's body. I actually think Cavill's Immortal look with a bit more muscle would have been better.

But hey, I also one of those that prefers Bale's look in TDK and TDKR to his "Fatman" look in Begins.

I don't care for the "swimmer's build" look for Superman, personally. Routh pretty much had that, and I always thought his body type just seemed wrong for Supes. I love Cavill's build for this role.

This. I think his build for Superman is perfect. And, I'm sorry, but this guy has to be taller than 6'1, at least while he was shooting. Isn't it true that lots of heavy-lifting and loads of protein increases height?

The town thing doesn't remind me of Thor because it doesn't look like cheap T.V movie town from what I can tell and I almost never think about Thor.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and speculate that the bottom picture of Supes, along with the rest actually, will be in the next trailer. That also includes that pic of Jor-El in that big room with the weird looking man in back ground. I say that bc every picture they've aloud to be scene are pictures we've seen already in the trailers. Same for these I think. Anyone agree?

Cavill's build is absolutely perfect he's not huge by any means, he has the right amount of lean muscle on his frame to be cut and still have some mass. I don't want to see another scrawny or thin looking Superman again. Cavill is still not as big as Chris Evans got to play Cap in the first CA film.

Seriously though, they always have something in front of his crotch, or the photo/drawing is taken from an angle where it's largely hidden from view. This started with the very first image released from the movie. My own theory is that they want to obscure the change for traditionalists who might miss the trunks.
