Nice find. Last son of Krypton, Last son of Gallifrey.

found this pic from the non discussion forum. seems like Gotham and Metropolis have more in common that we thought.

heh, yeah, My Brother's Fiance' worked for the landscaper on Begins lol
I thought one of the Metropolis towns was in Illinois. at least signs for Supes

Man, it would be so cool if Krypton was mentioned once in Doctor Who. To signify a multiverse, Krypton could easily exist in Doctor Who's storyline/ universe.

To tie in with MoS promotion would be good, lol!

I love how Morrison described that original image as Superman destroying the symbol of mechanization, as he was a socialist crusader in his first incarnation.

looks like the flower from little shop of horrors lol

Possibly leaked exterior image?

Yeah that's been around for a few weeks now. In fact that is what will eventually become the Fortress of Solitude. In fact, we saw it in the last trailer. There is a full image of that picture floating around somewhere. Anyways, here's the shot of the exterior of the FOS in the last trailer.....

We also have the full look of the Fortress/ship in comic form.

I don't know about it melting into the terrain, but the ice and snow definitely expands over the ship the more time passes.

It's a definite step up from the traditional crystal fortress. I'd love to see it in some kind of Man of Steel animated series.

It really is a step up, so much that it makes the crystal fortress feel outdated. Agreed, I hope they continue using this type of fortress for a future animated series. Even if it's not directly based on MOS.

The Crystal Fortress (My sentimental favorite) is outdated, but I am welcoming the new MOS transition.

i like how the ship melts into the terrain

I think the ships may be organic as well and what you're talking about is probably due to the organic nature of the ships...melting in with the surroundings
